It’s not his job to tell people what to do...

This is probably the most important election in 100 years, and for someone with the influence of Rush Limbaugh to stay on the sidelines... I can't imagine listening to his lamenting the "coulda beens" later if he didn't come out and put his stake in the ground now.

I understand that. I just think that social conservatives have to work together this election cycle or we are going to be completely run over by the fiscal wing of the party.

Fred Thompson to Receive Major Endorsement Tomorrow
by Carl Cameron

He won’t spill!
Sean Hannity tried to pry it out of him to no avail.
Taking calls for almost an hour Fred Thompson and Jeri Thompson were on Sean Hannity’s radio show today. While many of the candidates practiced and prepped for tonight’s debate, Thompson took questions from callers and Sean Hannity and played coy regarding a major endorsement he will receive tomorrow.

He said he thinks he has “a fair chance” here in South Carolina. He went on to say “South Carolina is where I stand.” He said he had a strong conservative consistent record which plays well here.

“We have to do well here without any question.”

He runs fourth in the South Carolina polls at 9%. Saturday, 19th will be the day of reckoning.

~~~~
FRED WINS THE FNC POLL (Paul = 32%, Thompson = 22%) LOLOL!!
I further predict that Petronski will post some more lame spam graphic, or some stupid childish taunt, rather than discussing this intelligently.
Ahh yes, the Romney Sleaze Machine Prime Directive in action.
Will you be having another meltdown tonight?
Aren’t you the one who said your sources guaranteed Hunter was dropping out of the race a few days back?
You are a nut.
He has to take out Huck first. Huck’s scarier, unbelievably enough. More downsides.
Fred is kicking asss.
That’s not my decision to make. The voters have already.
And don’t think, if he would be a suggested running mate, what he did wouldn’t come back to bite him. It would.
Duncan Hunter is the nut for keeping this fruitless charade of a campaign up.
Rush prefers to tell people how to think, and let them use that knowledge to make the correct choices.
Perhaps some monied conservatives should get together and create their own conservative news network...it would sure as hell be better than anything presently on the market, lol. I definitely see a market demand.
A Thompson/Romney ticket would not surprise me.
Well how do they do that if neither of them wins anywhere? Mitt can't win MI IMO because Hillary is running unopposed there. Now all the independents in MI are going to crossover and vote for MCCain or Huck, since that is who the Dems want for us. SC, Huck is leading and McCain in second, Mitt has pulled his ads. So how do you come up with these two when they probably would both have to pull out soon? Hope I'm wrong BTW.
I take it supporting the killing of babies and the homosexual agenda (i.e. Rudy) is less liberal, in your view, than supporting some liberal economic policies?
I could be wrong but I don't think that Rush has ever endorsed a candidate during the primaries.
Carpe Diem -- seize the day.
If this is the election of "CHANGE," then even Limbaugh can change and endorse a primary candidate for the first time.
There is too much at stake this election.
