Okay that's a first for me. So, if someone is ignorant, they are a liar. Hmmmm. I had no idea that if someone does not understand something, that makes them a liar. I will try to remember that next time.

That's not what I said. Why don't you try actually READING what I said.

Don't get me wrong. I understand the benefits and position that ham radio has in this country and I may actually add this to the reasons I would, or would not, vote for someone.

Because of this, I will assume "You get it". I never said it was the ONLY reason I wasn't voting for him. You assumed that I think. It's A reason, but it's also an IMPORTANT reason, but again, let me reiterate and state, IT's NOT about ham radio, it's about 1) his ignorance, and 2) his refusal to admit his mistake and 3) his refusal to apologize.

It's PRINCIPLES again, and this is something many people just aren't getting. When you lie to someone and then expect them to vote for you -- then you're just an idiot. When you are IGNORANT and treat someone badly because you're ignorant, that's AKIN to lying to someone. Principles.

The responses to your posts who think this is about slighted hobbyists demonstrate a similar lack of understanding of what role HAMs play. As a kid with a fresh license, along with my family I participated in some disaster simulations. Lots of fun and very educational.
