This tells me that Romney is only worried about one man in the entire race. And it isn’t Huckabee or McCain. Rather than just attack him, he wanted to remove him from the playing field.

And at the end of the day, Romney wiped out the Mass GOP.

“The Massachusetts Republican Party died last Tuesday.
The cause of death: failed leadership.
The party is survived by a few leftover legislators
and a handful of county officials and grassroots activists
who have been ignored for years.
Services will be public and a mass exodus of taxpayers will follow.
In lieu of flowers, send messages to New Hampshire Republican voters
warning them about a certain presidential candidate named Romney.”

- Boston Herald, 11/12/2006

“Romney arrived on the scene with great promise,
but is leaving the Republican Party here in shambles.
Not only are the Republicans yielding the governor’s office
for the first time in 16 years, but registered Republicans
have fallen by 31,000 since Romney took office,
and their legislative presence is at historic lows.
But it worked out fine for him:
He is now chasing the prize he really covets, the presidency.”"

- Boston Globe 11/8/2006

At five o’clock yesterday, your vaunted prediction market Intrade had Obama’s NH contract at 98.9 or higher.

Some predictive value there.

In a few months Fred Thompson will drop out, it is just a matter of time and I will remember how you were so desperate for him to win you tried to spread rumors and lies about Romney, but it is all for naught. Not nice at all. not nice. The Clinton machine always thought “the ends justify the means” and I think it is just a way to rationalize doing bad things when you know you are doing them.

I had considered at one time supporting Romney but this sort of unethical behavior of originating rumours on an opponent of the same party soured me completely!

McCain has flaws but his voting record in the Congress is 72% conservative! It is the 28% that bothers me.

However, McCain can be controlled by a REPUBLICAN and CONSERVATIVE Congress! Don’t forget this at all!

Concentrate on your man in the Congress. That is where the other half of the power is!!!

I will vote for Romney, because he is the brightest , best Candidate running, and he strikes fear in the hearts of liberals. He will be strong on defense, economics, and do it with style, and dedication. Everyday Hillary hopes that Huckabee will win, or even old Invalid McCain, so she will be stronger.. and you will be a part of it.

“No one here would doubt my closeness to the Romney campaign, and I say that this rumor of Romney’s “machine” involvement is silly.”

This does not make you an objective reporter of truth.

But since you are a Romney insider...

How do you explain the FAKE policemen
And with FAKE badges
And the FAKE Fred Website
And the FAKE lifetime hunter lies

???

It sounds like this story fits right in to
the Romney profile.

Defamation doesn't become you. But the Prime Directive beckons and you obey.

“There was a push-polling scandal a couple of weeks ago that was also traced back to a Romney-linked firm in Salt Lake City.”

There was an anti-mormon push poll conducted during the NH primary that the attorney general is still investigating. Which campaign hired the firm has not been determined. They should know in a couple of weeks.

...you tried to spread rumors and lies about Romney...

Although that is false, I recall the fake website traced to the Romney Sleaze Machine designed to spread fake information about Fred.

Who was the first candidate to applaud Fred for saying "I"m not doing hand shows today"?

Yep, Romney.

It just figures Willard would hold the record for the fastest flip-flop in history (under three seconds).

A candidate don’t amass a fortune of $300 million without stepping on a lot of toes on the way there. And also on the way, a lot of favors are owed to players equally as wealthy and influential.

Now how can Americans trust a Presidential candidate that rubs noses with the rich and famous? The appearance to me is that this candidate is no different than the rest of the Washington insiders that represent big business interests and put the peoples interests at the bottom of the list.. Which means more of the same pompous, indignation of what main stream Americans have been loudly wanting for decades.

Romney is a pseudo conservative.

Fred Thompson is a REAL conservative.
