Why not drop the pretenses and just allow the media to pick the President? (sarcasm)

Why not drop the pretenses and just allow the media to pick the President? We already are, quite literally and explicitly.
With the complete cooperation and connivance of the Republican Party.

Let’s see. Hunter paid $25K to be on the SC ballot. Has spent a fair amount of time there. Has a campaign HQ there. Was in a virtual tie in their largest straw poll. Has a delegate already on the books. Won the texas straw poll convincingly.
But nah, Fox and the GOP don’t want him in the debates.

Anyone who has qualified to be on the ballot should be included in the debate. Period. Why should it make difference if they’ve polled a certain percentage in a phone poll?
I don’t even bother to watch Fox anymore. I used to really like them, but lately I’ve found them to be only slightly better than the rest of pack.

Hunter keeps everyone else honest.
I’d rather watch paint dry, than watch the debate. I don’t watch the Dem debates, either.

Fred needs to crank it up a notch in the SC debates. It seemed in NH he took a very laid back approach, possibly because he’d written off NH and all the faux conservatives there. He has to hammer home the fact he is the only consistent conservative among the front runners and he needs to remind the viewers of that fact incessantly. That message should sell in SC and if he doesn’t forcefully address that fact it’s all over.
