owe nothing but contempt to the corrupt politician who, along with his pal Ted Kennedy, wants to merge my homeland with Mexico.

Here here!

What is the deal with Fred only getting 1%? Did he air an ad insulting New Hampshire beers? Or perhaps they finally found out that he was the one who broke the Old Man of the Mountain (because there can be only one mountain man when Fred is in New Hampshire).

Good post, and timely. I miss Santorum’s voice in the political arena.

I second that! Extremely disheartening. It seems like it has turned into a RINO forum, not a Conservative one.

Fred didn’t get any support -- they disdained him for being a southern conservative, but they hated him for blowing off the state.

Interesting. According to that site, Fred is only 3 delegates behind McCain.

What the heck is an RNC unpledged delegate? And who got them?

I don’t think Jeri has a burning desire to be First Lady anymore than Fred has a burning desire to become President for his own aggrandizement. She’s busy being a mother of two small children, and isn’t even always on the road with Fred. If Jeri were some ‘stage wife’, those kids would be dumped with a Nanny for the duration, and that isn’t happening.

What is the deal with Fred only getting 1%...

NH voters have never been real fond of Southerners. Also, he ticked off the NH GOP from the get go, because instead of attending the GOP debate on the evening before he announced, he opted for going on Jay Leno to announce that he was entering the race. I think they got their knickers in a twist and were against him from the beginning. Fred did do some campaigning early on in NH, but anymore, they're not his kind of Republicans.

"McCain has won the battle. Romney will win the war."

-----

And the conservative movement will lose all around.

Not since becoming a conservative in the late 70's have I been so dispirited.

How did we get reduced to this?

Hank

“Interesting. According to that site, Fred is only 3 delegates behind McCain.”

That website is incorrect. Iowa has not awarded any delegates yet. Arkansas has not counted votes yet and Hunter won 2 in Wyoming. CNN blew it again.

The problem is where do we go if Fred does not get any traction?

For any number of reasons I think McQueeg is far from the best choice of the remaining candidates. Flashing the Global Warming sign recently really put a stake in his heart as far as I’m concerned.

Ron Paul is just plain nuts.

Huckabee just does not have it. His knowledge of Foreign Policy is a disaster let alone some of his other positions.

That leaves Rudy and Mitt. So I ask the question again where to the conservatives go? I think this is what Rush is leading to. I know he despises McQueeg and does not think to highly of Huck. I agree with him on that. So again that only leaves Rudy or Mitt.
