If you’re supporting anyone but Fred or Hunter, you’re supporting either a liberal in Giuliani and Romney, or a moderate in Huckabee and McCain.
None of those four candidates speak to the real principles as promoted by Reagan conservatism. And the vast majority of Free Republic agrees.

If you ask me, people deal with their frustrations with this process in different ways. Most of us don’t have any say for some time and are just forced to watch the results come in as if it were a ball game that we never took part in.
Some deal by accepting that anyone on our side is better than a Liberal like Obambi or Her Thighness.
Others lash out and threaten to sit it out if their conscience won’t allow them to vote for a fake Republican.

I agree, that is my theory also. I’ve personally already heard two independents say something that sounds this way:
“I will wait for the latest polls to make a decision to either vote for Obama if it’s too close to call, or for McCain, to make sure Mitt Romney doesn’t win.”
It’s time to wake up Freepers! Liberals and so called “independents” fear Mitt Romney the most. But Mitt is still winning because he has the most delegate seats.
