Game's ON... My prediction... Obama in a blowout, McCain by 5.
(Whew - Go, Hillary!)
I felt very comfortable when I figured the rats were destined to nominate the repugnant, thoroughly unelectable Hillary. Her nomination would lead not only to a colossal electoral landslide for the Republican candidate (ANY Republican candidate) but would probably improve the GOPs chance to take back the House with the down ticket ripple effect.
But Obama? The Obama phenomenon is too new to get a handle on, especially since right now its only the rats who are paying him much attention. I do sense the possibility, though, that with ten months of vigorous face time on TV the silly Obama fad might fade away like the hoola hoop, Trivial Pursuit, and Tickle My Elmo. I just hope it happens before election day 2008
oh really? Who is going to beat him in S. Carolina?
how about this: GAP, GAP, CLOSE IT...GAP, GAP, CLOSE IT (?)
I'm pretty sure you meant pollsters, but, when it comes to FR, posters would also be appropriate.
I don't have a position on this, but I believe that it is a somewhat common opinion that states have always had a legal option for secession. I have seen this expressed a few times.
Yea we keep coming right back to it.
What coalition?
Somehow we have to take back our damn Primary!
I think he and Pat Paulsen are fighting it out for the 1% Dems that wrote in votes (according to USA today, total write-ins on the dem side is 1266 - 01/08/2008 10:01PM 59% of precincts)
Howvmany votes does he have?
Michael Barone: Hillary Is Beating Her Exit Poll Numbers Latest from Michael Barone: Hillary's winning Manchester, the state's largest city, solidly, with 9 out of 12 wards reporting.Forgive my cycnicism, but ANY time a Dem beats the exit polls like that, I smell a Rat."The Clintons have done a heck of a turnout job."
As the decision desk folks check the actual results against the exit poll numbers, "In the western part of the state, Hillary is doing better and Barack Obama is doing worse than the exit polls indicated."
By tomorrow morning there will be a whispering campaign that the Clintons STOLE New Hampshire. And Obama's fans will GLADLY believe it. This could be fun!
If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we’d all have a merry Christmas.
Can’t people wait and see anymore?
Maybe not. Hillary could start a fight, get Bill to hit her, and then have the Secret Service arrest him and put him in a deep dark hole somewhere. She could claim the syphilis had made him insane and keep him doped. It would be sort of the greatest cheated-on wife revenge ever. *g*
Most likely, he’d irk her by about Feb. 1, 2008 and she appoint him ambassador somewhere far away like China.
There is nothing strange yet. Where the votes are counted are good HRC areas. Look at the county by county and Obama areas are undercounted when compared to Hillary. Obama will sweep by her soon and win by a percentage close to what the exit polls predict.
I agree; the early states are creating a No Leader situation which plays right into Rudy's Big State strategy. I wonder if his luck will hold up.

Moron? Quayle was the ONLY one warning us about the coming breed of hack lawyers....
Can you say Clinton. Can you say Edwards?
Quayle was not aligned with *any* Washington think tank, he was picked for a reason. And when the time came, the party abandooned him to the same lib press we’ve watched tear at Bush for 8 years. He was no more moronic than Bush.
Give Quayle a break.
This is getting silly...:)
What is the gap now, by the way?
I guess you are a Fred Head or a Ron Paul bot? Sour grapes...?
Edwards will get out of it soon. On Fox now. Finally. Hair products to suffer.
