Perhaps Obama will pull out the win?

I've lived in NH for a long time. It's a small state that I've explored extensively, and I like to think I know our towns pretty well. There is a corridor west of Manchester (Bedford, Merrimack, Goffstown, Weare) that ought to be pretty solid territory for Obama. None of these populous towns have reported a single vote yet. That said, it looks to me like the unions have gotten their people out today, and they are all Hillary, all the time. So, it's not looking great - not impossible, though.

Well Obama may yet pull out a slim victory tonight. Worse case scenario for Obama appears to be a slim defeat and to those who might be disappointed that the Wicked Witch of the Ozarks melt away tonight, take heart! New Hampshire is only 1.27% black (as of 2005). And Iowa isn't much different.

What I'm saying here is that Obama has yet to go up against Shrillary in a state with a significant black population and he is already beating her or holding his own.

You may be right. I’ll pass this along: 50% of Concord has now reported... Obama up there by only 1%... much less than expected. I think Hillary is going to win this thing. There was a huge turnout among Independents taking Democrat ballots, which can only mean that many voted for The Beast, in which case.... yikes.

I'm not unhappy, though. Great opportunity for Clinton and Obama to turn nasty -- as Huckabee and McCain continue to run respectable (even complementary) campaigns.

I do not care who wins among the democrats, in fact Hillary Clinton is not going to be elected President because she is the meanest and most unlikable person to run for President in decades.

I hear ya, but I'm sayin' its better if she is weakened and really has to blow a lot of cash on the primaries by a vicious bruising contest. Especially because we do not look like we're going to get a very good Repub candidate so far.

If I remember correctly, Michael Barone was explaining how they use EXIT polls (not the actual votes), and he said one of the first things they do is look for anomalies. For example, one of the towns exit polls indicated that one candidate was getting 87% of the vote, so they figured out that it probably wasn't reliable info, so they don't use it.

Put the tin foil hats away, I don't think Michael Barone ever said one person actually got that amount of votes.
