The polls were way off if this keeps up. Hillary could go from being expected to lose by double digits to winning by double digits. Maybe that crying act yesterday worked. If so, expect many more emotional displays in the coming weeks....

Or perhaps the Clinton Machine went all out to prevent a debacle that would have killed her campaign, using whatever means necessary.

Best-case would be for Clinton and Obama to battle each other for months, leaving little left for the general election

There's a strong possibility Hillary would choose the non-controversial Evan Bayh of Indiana as a veep candidate.

She certainly would NOT pick Obama. The presidential candidate must be the star of the ticket, and Obama and his moon-eyed, stupid, Sinatra-shrieking followers would upstage her at every turn.

Hussein is also accumulating bad baggage as more things come out about his background and connections. Latest but not least, the Kenya affair.

Actually, none of the other Dem campaigners would touch him with a ten-foot pole as a ticket partner, either.

You can’t underestimate how contrarian these New Englanders are. They will not vote for Obama just to show they are independent. If HRC had won IA, Obama would be ahead in NH.

There are a few islands in the Pacific that are still uninhabited, if you can get there. And of course there’s always Antarctica.

Don’t worry, Hillary and Obama will now have to get even down and dirtier, she is far from safe if she wins NH. Iowa and New Hampshire are way overrated anyhow. But I’m with you on the emotions of too many female voters.

His plan to win IA and NH has failed. It’s delicious.

Michigan is in the plan as well. Good eats.

I don't understand why so many here are depressed that HRC might win NH. I'm jumping for joy!

Here in CT, I'm hearing noises from some 'moderate' Dem men that they would vote for Obama. Believe me, these guys would never, ever vote for Hillary, no matter what they tell pollsters.

Folks, a Hillary win is a win for us.

You're a real piece of work. Here's your candidate:

Fred Thompson: 563 votes (1%)

South Carolina: Fred Thompson: 9%

So you're saying Romney will STILL lead in the delegate count?!

Wow. I guess he had a point when he spoke about two "silvers" and one "gold".

No I am not underestimating anyone, I am just looking at human nature, a person who is so unlikable, so mean, so fake, and so arrogant like Hillary Clinton cannot win a Presidential elections.

Obama alarms me and fascinates me. He is like an elegant leopard,,graceful, thin, dignified.

But politically he is all vapors, all poetic. I don’t know what he really is and that alarms me.

He is the perfect black candidate,,not an ounce of intimidation or scariness, he won’t mug you, he doesn’t seem to have an overt edge of rage. He doesn’t seem like a flim flam man.

I suspect he is a cool cool customer and an iceberg. I don’t know but am concerned he is easily manipulated by power in the background.

All that aside, he would be fun at a cocktail party.

So does that answer you?

I just had a horrible thought. Could Hillary have BILL as her running mate as VP? He would count as the first black VP candidate, wouldn’t he? ;-)

Just dang depressing.

You should be relishing the moment. and cheering it's exhibition.

It's our democracy at it's finest.....

with ballot box stuffing and yacking heads spewing out drivel in the hopes of persuading some dumbass to vote a certain way.

Pass the popcorn......

It’s been jumping between 1.6 and 1.3%. Drudge is rounding so sometimes it’s 2%, sometimes 1%.

There was exit polling right at the top of the Fox broadcast at 8pm EST and it showed Obama winning by 5-6%. The only thing I can think of is that she is winning most of the rural areas and the metropolitan areas(what there is in New Hampshire) where Obama would do well haven't come in yet.
