I’m an old New Yorker. I liked Jack Kemp, too...way back when. He kinda went out of the Public eye for a while (and I think there was a Public Housing scandal)...and simply lost his popularity.

His main jump-the-shark moment was his “debate” with Algore. That was the most pathetic, infuriating, shoe-throwing, anticlimactic mess I’ve ever seen.
At some point the sharp, passioante, principled firebrand Jack Kemp had a spine-ectomy and turned into a zombie.

McCain is getting the over-80 crowd locked up, but what about today’s GOP, the GOP that is aghast over his amnesty, his globaloney, his egregious CFR bill that attacked the 1st amendment, and other things?
McCain winning is a sellout from conservatism.
