Mitt kicked ass with the focus group.
I’m stunned. I didn’t think he did that well.
I thought Romney won it but they’re saying Fred blew it? Were we listening to the same debate?
Don’t be surprised. Luntz is a hack. These focus groups give “unscientific” new meaning. What’s stunning is the gravitas Fox News gives Luntz, Cameron, et al.
I thought he did fine. The more I hear from him, the more I like him as my number two pick.
I watched the response meter (Fox had it running on their website)during the debate and Mitt’s answers were generally in the mid to high 70s whereas most of the other candidate responses hovered in the 60s. I don’t know how much stock we can put in focus group data but this particular group was certainly very impressed with Romney which is, at least, a good sign.
