I watched the response meter (Fox had it running on their website)during the debate and Mitt’s answers were generally in the mid to high 70s whereas most of the other candidate responses hovered in the 60s. I don’t know how much stock we can put in focus group data but this particular group was certainly very impressed with Romney which is, at least, a good sign.
I also think it’s important if the independents who voted for McCain last time go to the D primary Tuesday for Obama.
