People at airports should be afraid of Son of Huck, you know Huck's son is on probation now for carrying a loaded weapon into an airport in april.. Brit Hume doesn't know that.

Fred is addressing the hottest issue in this election. It's still illegal immigration, folks.
Stay the course, Fred.

Haven’t watched all debates with a microscope but, frankly, I think this is the most revealing and informative of the bunch - And Thompson certainly appears to be shining when actually given a chance to get the exposure and is asked a sensible question.

Just like last night, Thompson goes straight to the important points, shows he’s actually thinking about solving problems.
Huckabee and Romney are only thinking about getting votes, it’s so obvious.

He said you fight for what is right. But in regards to changing the tax code by Huckabee’s plan- which would require a Constitutional Amendment to be implemented correcty- you need to be realistic about what can be done.

Fred is the only candidate who seems to have the ability to give a straight, honest answer. I just wish he’d put a bit more energy into it. Being a President is more than just positions... a President has to have the ability to inspire people, and it’s hard to imagine Fred doing that, since he himself doesn’t seem too inspired.

Currently running THIRD in the 2008 NATIONAL GOP Nominating Convention Delegate total DUNCAN HUNTER would have STILL mopped the floor with all of them tonight on the issue of Borders/Fence/Deportation/Sovereignty, were he there and were this event not censored.

I wish Fred had just said “You really just don’t get it do you? Americans are tired of people flaunting our laws and being rewarded for it.”
He was the strongest of them all on illegal immigration but I think he missed an opportunity to be a lot stronger.
To: County Agent Hank Kimball
Giuliani is correct in that as a mayor, he was in a situation where the feds would only take at max a very very small % of the illegal population to deport each year.
Given that unchangeable reality, he did what anyone would have to do, try to get them to get in line and be contributing members.
He wasn’t in any way shape form or fashion able to change INS policies on this.

And, surprise, surprise I see that the NRO crowd think Mitt is hitting it out of the park tonight. Why am I not surprised.

Fred...love the guy...and I think he comes closest to my line of thinking (Mitt probably being second), but he is just not doing it. I’ve ben following the People Meter from FOXNEWS and when ever he talks, it’s stays at the mean (50). Mitt’s been hitting the high 80s with the immigration stuff. But I’m glad to report the Man from Hope is sucking as well.
