Property taxes are unconstitutional; it is a de facto assertion that the state owns all property - its subjects are only leasing it.

Auto insurance would seem to be a form of taxation or fee, like a toll, in order to use a public roadway.

Romney’s ‘health insurance mandate’ is many things, but not a free market approach to health care reform.

That is your opinion. I just don’t agree with it. Why should a state continue to pay for uninsured people, especially when they have the means to buy insurance?....thereby driving up the cost for everyone else. Private health care insurance in Mass is at least 40% less expensive than in other states.
