Romney performed very admirably in the face of sophomoric scrutiny. He was assertive and composed, yet didn’t slink down to the senate creature’s level. Romney is very impressive when analyzes and breaks down the issues. I could care less if he’s satanist as long as he can successfully improve the dire conditions in Washington.

Mom...a baby-boomer democrat I’ve been working on...watched her first debate today. Typically never pays attention until I yell at her (respectfully of course). Which happened at my daughter’s basketball game today. She called and ranked it this way:
1. “I really liked Thompson” - sounded really good. First time she’d heard him speak.
2. “I also liked McCain” - better than she thought.
3. “that Rudy Giuliani” - didn’t seem too bad.
For what its worth from someone who pays very little attention to any of it.
