I'm a FRedhead, but I love Duncan Hunter. However, the man HAS to pull out. He's siphoning votes away from FRed. What's his purpose? No one is paying any attention to him but his die-hard followers.

Our one conservative hope with a shot of winning is Fred. Duncan will just create all kinds of ill-will for himself if he hangs in there like an aging runway model. He can really hurt Thompson in SC.

Do I detect a contradiction?

1. "Duncan Hunter is going nowhere, he is pulling no votes, he is not a factor, he should give it up, he is a non-entity."

2. "Duncan Hunter must pull out. He is "pulling votes" (sic) from Fred."

Which one is it?

You are contradicting yourself.

If Hunter has no impact, then why would his dropping out have anything to do with bettering Fred Thompson's chances?

Can't you come up with something more machiavellian than that? Give it a try!

Such as telling us what we get from Fred Thompson as political barter, if we pulled out.

Actually Hunter was one of the first to enter the race and many many months later Fred came on board.
Manybe it is Fred who is taking away Hunter’s votes.
