There are about four counties that haven’t reported anything yet.

I hope Fred hangs on. I think he did well considering his late entry. Romney pumped so much of his own money in this race. He must be one very disappointed man this evening.

Think of all the $$$ spent in this little state that really matters so little in the grand scheme of things. I swear, I think Iowa wants to hold its caucuses first every four years just to increase the tourism revenue.

From reports on TV it looks like if you take away self-professed evangelicals Huck was not very successful. I wonder what the percentage of evangelicals is nationwide. I doubt more than 20%. I bet in the big electoral states it is less than 10%. I wonder what percent of the MSM is evangelicals.

That’s what I do know about Thompson... he doesn’t even know enough to be able to be a Christian, in order to choose that for himself...

WHO GIVES A RAT'S @$$???

I am so completely, utterly SICK TO DEATH of religion, "christian issues" and abortion being the be-all, end-all issues that have completely splintered this party. I want my elected officials to have their minds on politics, how they are spending OUR money, what they are doing to protect OUR country, I don't care where or if they go to church every Sunday, I want quality on the job I elected them to do Monday through Friday. I do not believe for one second that honest, conservative, GOOD people have to be any sort of a christian. I know people who go to church every week, and are completely awful people the rest of the week, yet they are "good". Bull.

I firmly believe that evangelicals and "christian conservatives" will be (if not already) the death of this party. The founding fathers didn't want government involved in their religious choices. I don't want religion involved in my political choices.

I’m sorry a fellow Fredhead posted that. They were wrong to do so. I would like nothing better than to see Duncan and Fred duking it out for the nomination. I sure would feel better about that than the current choices (aside from those two.) I half expect that Duncan will drop out before long to protect the campaign of his son. He will be a loss to the Conservative movement if that is the last we hear from him. (And I was rooting for him to pull 5% in Iowa and send the MSM into a fit.)

I should also mention that my early support for Duncan faded on the actions of some of his supporters. Those intelligent enough to support those two should know better than to fight in front of the children.

It’s established and standard Christian definition, when it comes to salvation — you don’t meet up with Christian doctrine — you’re not Christian... it’s not hard to understand...

Lol, per your logic, if our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ returned in all his glory as the leader of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.....
You would vote against him?
