I thought the time was right to start up a live thread for results and comments about tonight, so here we are!
You’ve missed the boat on this one.
is it me or does his wife look just like him?
I heard that Chuck wears Jack Bauer pajamas.
I think Star Traveler is looking for Preacher...not President
Channel 8 reporting McCain and Thompson tied for third (damn).
Jeff Greenfield says Republicans had a great candidate, popular in his state, a great administrator, but couldn’t run him. The problem was his last name was Bush — Jeb Bush.
She was pretty clever playing the ‘team player’ who is so thrilled at the prospects of the dems winning in 2008. “Gracious”, says Matthews. It was quite a contrast from the Breck girl and I wouldn’t count her out yet although a third place finish is newsworthy. McCain coming in third scares me to death.
I turned it on for 5 seconds - 5 seconds!
Hillary was at the podium barking. Does she have short person’s complex?? Bill was behind her with that smug eatin’ grin.
It’s sick - I could not watch another second!!!
-PJ
When they did a back-scope of Hillary talking, Madeline Albright on her right, the crowd behind them, Bubba on her left, and Chelsea standing next to him, his face was redder’n any face there. His nose looked like Rudolph. I changed chanels, suspecting it might be my tv.
It wasn’t.
Jethro Bodine.....(((snicker)))
Aw, the huckleberries.
Do Chuck Norris’ teeth glow in the dark?
It was not self-manufactured... it was all given to her by the PC press.
“I thought about trying to explain to you why you are insulting to people like myself who support Huckabee, who are conservative evangelicals, and who are very well educated, but then you lump Rick Warren and Joel Osteen together....so I shall just leave you to your slander”
I said a certain kind of Evangelical, not all Evangelicals, and the Huckster is just the same kind of Evangelical as is Joel Osteen and Rick Warren, the global warming is a serious problem, illegals should be given a break type of Evangelicals, the touchy-feely kind. Now, if you fit that type of Evangelical, the Huckster kind, then you are in the wrong party or you’ve been snookered by a con artist into believing the Huckster is a true conservative. He’s not, not by a longshot.
And I might add, that certain kind of Evangelical seems to have no problems calling Mitt Romney’s religion a cult, and slander him as often and as loudly as possible. Check out all of the hate Mitt threads that have appeared on this website, primarily dominated by that certain kind of Evangelical. So look in the mirror to see if you fit into my definition of a certain kind of Evangelical. I’m suspicious right off the bat because you say you support the Huckster. But each to their own.
Chuck Norris for health coach at Hollywood High.
The Huckabee name will only be shunned by Americans ignorant of early American history, or those who do not care. Michael Huckabee is a direct descendant of "Berryman" Huckabee who was born ca 1795 in Virginia. Although a connection is not known, a John Huckaby immigrated to Charles City County, Virginia around 1675. The name is an old established American colonial name no matter what the uneducated, or selectively ignorant, want you to believe.
Nice to see that you finally came back. Did you ever find that cite for Fred saying that he had to come in second? (I didn’t think so.)
“........A new day”=End of American Conservativism...
Yes Nan, if the worst happens it makes me sick to think we will have to be in front of the White House protesting again.
Huckelberry giving a nice speech now but this oaf will never be President. Good bass player though. Good, good man, but not Presidential material. MHO.
