He wants to finish the job in Iraq.

Nobody honestly believes that Huckabee would back down to terrorists like Jimmy Carter did in the 70s...

come on folks.

(agree to disagree)

I just spoke yesterday long distance to a person I know in Ohio who is a Baptist and Conservative and she in no way is voting for the Huckester because like me she has lived through decades of history and reality.

That’s not Fred. (It wasn’t Reagan either, but I digress.)

Watch the video he sent to Michael Moore. He didn’t rant and rave. Fred took that loudmouth down with but a waive of his cigar.

That’s the passion you’re looking for.

Please give Fred another look. We’d love to have you aboard.

Personality?!
Do you think that it is more important to be entertained with one-liners and quick comebacks? Or is it more important to have the strongest, most Conservative, most mature, steady leader that we can have? You have bought into the “no fire in the belly” slop that the MSM is trying to feed us.

We will have to agree to disagree.

I will not be able to vote until this is already decided. And I am a Huckbee guy because I like him.

Yes, I think Hunter will come in third. What’s the basis of my reasoning?

Ignorance of statistics.

Paul's been polling around 5% from what I recall, but I expect him to easily double that. I figure there's something to a lot of people coming into the process for Paul that haven't been counted in the polls.

Funded by George Soros money no doubt....:/

Rush better watch who he slams. This COULD come back to haunt him and cost him in the pocketbook.

I'm sure Rush is shaking in his golf shoes. (rolling eyes)

And Rush did not slam Huck the man--he pointed out Huck's positions on key issues which are not at all conservative.

It wouldn’t be exactly cheating, I don’t think, but the caucuses are controlled by the parties. So...the candidate that is favored by party leaders has a big advantage.

So if he isn’t, then he beats expectations? What would you define as beating expectations for Hunter? And what is NOT meeting expectations for Thompson? Thompson, after all, said that he needed to come in 2nd.

Thompson: “I Need to Come in Second”

Basically, it’s a wide open race, with the lead changing on a weekly basis. Might as well support the truest conservative, Hunter.

“Praying for a Huckabee victory tonight.”

Why? He gives every indication of being the worst Republican candidate in the field... His positions on illegal immigration, social programs and taxation are all unacceptable.

I'm praying for a Huckabee loss tonite. He is the worst and is no Republican even though he lies and says he is.

Huckabee is not only for Amnesty for illegals but also he is for chain Amnesty .

Huckabee will give Amnesty to 30 million illegals and then allow those 30 million to bring to the U.S. 100 million of their relatives . That would turn America into a 3rd world socialist hell hole. Who cares if this Huckster says he is a Christian and says he is pro-life when he will destroy America and what’s left of the Republican party?

Huckabee is not only for Amnesty but for chain Amnesty. What does it matter that the Huckster says he is a good Christian and pro-life when Huckabee will turn the U.S,. into a socialist state where we will all be starving?

Mike Huckabee is a socialist/liberal, pro-Amnesty, pro-illegal immigrant, tax-raising, false prophet. Someone should tell Huckabee and the Democrats that socialism doesn't work. Look at the U.S. government schools, USSR, Cuba, N Korea, Eastern Europe as examples that show socialism doesn't work.

Mike Huckabee. The Socialist From Arakansas. CofCC.org Newa Team

(by Kyle Rogers)

The NEA is a radical left wing teachers association. They aggressively oppose homeschooling, are hostile to parochial schools, and advocate federalizing the curriculum of all public schools. As Governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee passed a law that added major restrictions to the Arakansas Homeschool Rights Act passed by Bill Clinton, making Arkansas one of the most hostile state to homeschoolers outside of the Northeast. Homeschoolers in Arkansas had more rights when Clinton left office than when Huckabee left office.

Was Mike Huckabee “just like Bill Clinton?” Maybe, but some would actually say he was to the left of Bill Clinton. As Governor of Arkansas, Huckabee’s tax and spend record greatly exceeded former AR Gov. Bill Clinton. He even wanted to tax the internet.

Mike Huckabee is to the left of even Sam Brownback and John McCain on immigration. He claimed God wants us to give amnesty to millions of illegal aliens. As Governor of Arkansas he advocated letting illegal aliens vote.

While Huckabee is now lying and saying he is dedicated to fighting illegal immigration, his record is clear.

Fact #1. As Governor of Arkansas, Mike Huckabee denounced an immigration bill (Arkansas Senate Bill 206) that “would have required proof of citizenship to register to vote and would have required state agencies to report suspected cases of people living in the country illegally.” (Doug Thompson, “Immigration Bill un-Christian..governor says”Arkansas News Bureau 1/28/05)

Fact #2. As Governor, Mike Huckabee offered a proposal to give state funded scholarships and state benefits to illegal aliens. (Laura Kellams, “Huckabee Plan would give aid to illegal aliens” Arkansas Democrat Gazette 1/12/2005)

Fact #3. Governor Huckabee supported the McCain-Kennedy Senate Amnesty bill for illegal aliens. Huckabee claims to know God’s position on the Amnesty Bill, and that God supports it. Huckabee has repeated called opponents of illegal immigration “racists” and/or “bigots.” Read Article. , Read Article #2

Fact #4. Governor Huckabee refuses to sign the “No Amnesty Pledge”.

Huckabee Begs For New Taxes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pLOC4krZI4

Huckabee Caught Lying About His Tax Hikes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYrGlfkvRV0&feature=related

Huckabee is a pro-illegal, pro-Amnesty, tax raising, big government loving, socialist/liberal, violent criminal pardoning, terrorist appeasing, false prophet. In other words Huckabee is really a Democrat.

Under no circumstances will I ever vote for this liberal/communist con man.

The Huckster Huckabee or Hillary will let in hundreds of millions of 3rd world socialist illegals.

The Huckster or Hillary will surrender to Iran and let Iran build a nuclear arsenal.

The Huckster or Hillary will raise taxes and increase the size of government putting the U.S. on the road to socialism which will destroy our way of life, destroy our economy, destroy our civilization.

If you think I'm exaggerating look at Huckabee's record and into the dangers of socialism.

But hey , the idiot Huckster lies and says he is pro-life so that makes all of this ok huh? P> Mike Huckabee disses Americans, Mexicans, promotes illegal immigration

Huckabee fought hard to kill an Arkansas bill which would have cut off social services for illegal aliens. Huckabee called the bill, “anti-Christian” and “un-American”...

Okay. Here’s mine.
Republicans:

Romney 26%
Thompson 22%
Huckabee 22%
McCain 16%
Paul 8%
Giuliani 5%
Hunter 1%

Democrats:

I don’t care. Let them sort out their own mess and we’ll take care of the last loser standing next November.

Thompson might still clearly beat Huckabee tonight. It depends on how many of Huckabee’s people are still strongly motivated. While Mike’s on his way down, he’s not close to hitting the bottom of his support yet. I do think some of his supporters who have had time to become disillusioned, may just decide to do something else tonight when the time comes to go to caucus.

The same will be true for some of Romney’s support though I think Romney will still pull off a win. My reasoning is that the vast amount of money he has spent does, at least, buy an organization that will move heaven and earth to get out supporters. That is key in Iowa. This will not necessarily be enough to carry him through the rest of the states, however. Mitt has significant negatives which will ultimately prove difficult to overcome.

Paul will show better than he has shown in the Iowa polls. His lack of overall support in numbers will be mitigated by a higher level of participation by his followers.

Rudy is not expecting much and I don't think he'll get much.

McCain is benefiting from a media inspired surge. Some of the support that has slipped away from Huckabee and Romney has not found a good home yet and has floated to McCain. I think he'll finish in the mid teens. If we had another week, I think Fred would take at least another 4 or 5 percent of the McCain vote.

Fred should make a good showing because his supporters really like him and feel a connection to him. Most seem to be excited to have the chance to vote FOR him and not just against someone else. He is a solid conservative and is a strong individual who engenders trust. He's spent a significant amount of time in Iowa in the last few weeks an he's had the chance to win hearts and minds through bypassing national media filters. I think his supporters are motivated to turn out for him and he will benefit in the final standings.

We'll know very soon. Go Fred!

Here is how they can”cheat”

Go to your caucus site. If you see that you have more than you need to assure victory, you send some of your voters to become registered republicans and vote for the best republican for your democrat to defeat. (for those in rio linda that is huckabee or giuliani)

In the democrat side hillary voters have orders to have edwards as their second choice if hillary does not make 15%.

Kucinich people have the same order for obama.

Boy, you guys are good. I don’t have a clue about the Republican side, but the second choice rule is going to hurt Hillary. I predict she will come in third or worse.
