When he isnt calling people fascists for saying Merry Christmas, inciting his minions to disrupt other presidential campaigns or running around the country flirting with the idea that Bushco brought down the Twin Towers, the honorable Dr. Ron Paul is a congressman.
His army of anarchists, anti-war peaceniks and somewhat sane Libertarians like to say that he is a different kind of politician. Turns out hes just another ordinary career politician, earmarking pork for people in his district. Before voting against it for appearance sakes, of course.
So much for a citizen legislature. 20 years and counting? Well, maybe not.
My first reaction to a story about Paul possible losing the congressional race was to laugh it off. But that was before the honorable one lost his last remaining marble. There are a lot of people in his district that say Merry Christmas without the slightest inkling that it is a secret code phrase for fascism.
And when these people start asking questions about that, they are going to find that Ron Paul is the only candidate being endorsed by racists and fascists. Perhaps, when they look, they will ask, is there anyone else running for CD-14s seat?

where are your stats for 2003-2007?
“.... 20-38% of our wages every month JUST TO FEDERAL Taxes!”
Break down what you have on your Federal Taxes.
Where do you live?
And how many exemptions are you taking?
My husband pays 15% towards Federal Income Tax, Employee Medicare and Social Security.
For a family of four.
I believe Ron Paul stated he would return spending to 1990’s level, not 1800’s.
“Hope you enjoy losing our jobs to illegal aliens!”
Currently...you have to be a US citizen to be hired by the federal or state governments.
But who knows....if Ron Paul gets elected and decides to let States to decide about employement....I will predict weak enforcement of labor and safety laws in each state so they can attract those evil corporations into their area.
Maybe each State will pass “Right to Work” laws which makes it harder for unions to unionize!
Wages will get so low even the illegals won’t be attracted.
More tax breaks for the wealthy corporations because of lazzie faire business affairs of Ron Paul’s Policies.
And you just threw out the baby in the bath water.
I think more like Pre-FDR days.
I work in a Right to Work state - Nevada. Wages are pretty high here, double what I made in NC as a matter of fact, for the same job.
Nevada is a expensive place.
My husband and I were in Death Valley and drove around Nevada... in November...10 years ago.
Pretty.
I think this would look neat in the landscape.

That is a really neat house. I can’t listen to the audio but did see the video part. I think that we have construction like that here.
Where do you think I got that percentage?? I’m basing that off of my paycheck, my mothers, and about 3-4 others who shared about theirs earlier this year.
I lose on average about 25% of my income to Federal Tax, that’s not including State and County taxes, medicare, retirement, 401K(TSP), Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Union Dues, and charity. However, the others do not even come close to the same amount taken out by Federal Tax
Wrong. Real people are supporting Paul. The same people who used to show up at Bush's rallies.
Straw polls are Extremely unscientific.
Straw polls you still have to show up and vote, and in most cases, pay. They are more reliable than the small samples that major media organization get from a base that has shrunk significantly since 2004.
Anybody can vote and vote often to Flood the Straw Polls.
Anyone can pretty much vote and change their registration to Republican too, and vote for real.
Ron Paul is a 5% Losertarian....as Medved would say.
Medved is a Rudy shill with zero credibility, just like the artificial polls you're basing your argument on.
Hunter’s a fine conservative too.
Dude, you are indeed a tool. Wake up and realize that Paul's campaign is unprecedented, his supporters are all newcomers, independents, Republicans who never voted in 2004, etc.
Hello? Is this thing on?
The homes are completely off the electric grid.
Here’s an overview how the Earthships work.

Thanks for the link. I promised myself when I win the lottery or otherwise come into some money I’m going off the grid.
You have a good paying job that you don’t like so your solution to your troubles is to back Ron Paul because he promises to shut down your employer and put you on the unemployment line?
How will being let go from your job improve your situation?
I don’t suppose you realize that unemployment compensation is not in the consitution.
I’m sure Chris Peden will be proud to have the support of you socialist, anti-reform union thugs.
Quit living off the government tit, and you won’t be so scared of political change.
Hey bub, I don’t like unions but they are apart of our political landscape. I’m not a fan of them. Our paper mill in Massachusetts had to go out of business because the Unions didn’t trust the management. They wanted more pay and the company couldn’t afford it. The company even show their financial statements to the Union Reps but they went on strike anyway. The company went out of business and about 350 people lost their jobs.
I do understand we need our Unions to keep the workers safe and get a decent wages but they shouldn’t be greedy. This is the same with the companies they shouldn’t exploit workers and cut corners to save money. During the late 1960’s many workers were being exposed to toxic chemicals when they broke down the trees to make paper for this Paper Mill. Many workers became serious ill with lung diseases. Without the Unions, those workers would not be compensated or force the company to make drastic changes in the production line to avoid workers from being exposed to those corrosive chemicals. This is when OSHA became into being too. Many State officials were turning the other way about the dangerous conditions in that plant. The Paper Mill donated large some of money into State Offical’s campaign so they will look the other way.
Your very insulting.....
“Quit living off the government tit, and you wont be so scared of political change.”
I worked very hard for that military retirement pension. My husband and I been married for 23 years now. In our first three years of our marriage I did not see my husband very often. I think I tallied up 120 days he was home when he was attached to the USS Missouri. We were stationed in Long Beach, CA. He went out to sea for his six months deployment with my first child. When he came back from sea he went out to sea again to check something out on the ship. He stayed a week with the family and then out to sea again for a Rim Pack. This went on for six months of coming home for a couple of days and going out to sea... Got the picture. Then he went on his six month deployment and I stayed behind to take care of the baby.
Then we had shore duty but he was busy with that too. I hardly saw him because he had to pull duty, do more training and peform his regular job too. Then out to sea again.
He only stayed in the Navy because he knew after twenty years of service you get a pension. That was a promised made by the DOD.
Being a Navy wife is a difficult one and it requires you to do a lot of sacrificing so your husband could serve his country. So I’m entitled to that Navy retirement check and the healthcare. The government are always looking for ways to cut into the retiree pensions. We have to pay for our healthcare now when the DOD promised my husband he would get free health care for life.
What did we do about it...try to take down the federal government? No....we accepted it and count our blessings.
Political change my friend is not having your day dream revolution of dismantling the government from its foundation. You will have cause and effect if you abolish the IRS, ATF, FBI, DOE, HUD and other alphabet soup government programs. People don’t like radical change....they want reforms done gradually. People still work in those alphabet soup programs and many are counting their paychecks to pay for their mortgages and sending their kids to college.
I’ve been over at the Democrat Underground Website. Many Democrats like the idea of getting the troops out of Iraq. That is the major selling point with Ron Paul but they are not buying into the rest of Ron Paul’s plans of wiping out IRS and other government programs if he becomes President.
In the Democrats mind, how is the government going to fund all their social programs that the Republicans and Democrats been slowly chiseling away recently and trying to reform to the most cost effective way? My husband and I felt those reforms when the government started to change our pension around by having us pay for our healthcare and outsourcing many federal jobs. Congress in the late 1990’s closed many military bases across the country to save money and consolidated many military job specialties into one specialty.
If Ron Paul gets into office the Socialist will scream like r@pe apes if they see any of their turf being challenge. That’s my prediction. It’s simple as Human Nature. Nothing will get done if Ron Paul get elected. There will be no Ron Paul Revolution...No Reform....Nothing except angry constituents who will demand their government representatives to hand over Ron Paul’s Head on a Stick.
The old saying...people will cut off their nose inspite of their face.
I have a question for you...didn’t we have major reforms in the federal government in the last 15 years?
I know only four...
Welfare Reform.
Downsizing the military after the collaspe of the Soviet Union.
Federal Income Tax lowered to 10%.
And my favorite...
Healthy Forests Restoration Act of 2003
