I’m sure Chris Peden will be proud to have the support of you socialist, anti-reform union thugs.

Quit living off the government tit, and you won’t be so scared of political change.

Hey bub, I don’t like unions but they are apart of our political landscape. I’m not a fan of them. Our paper mill in Massachusetts had to go out of business because the Unions didn’t trust the management. They wanted more pay and the company couldn’t afford it. The company even show their financial statements to the Union Reps but they went on strike anyway. The company went out of business and about 350 people lost their jobs.

I do understand we need our Unions to keep the workers safe and get a decent wages but they shouldn’t be greedy. This is the same with the companies they shouldn’t exploit workers and cut corners to save money. During the late 1960’s many workers were being exposed to toxic chemicals when they broke down the trees to make paper for this Paper Mill. Many workers became serious ill with lung diseases. Without the Unions, those workers would not be compensated or force the company to make drastic changes in the production line to avoid workers from being exposed to those corrosive chemicals. This is when OSHA became into being too. Many State officials were turning the other way about the dangerous conditions in that plant. The Paper Mill donated large some of money into State Offical’s campaign so they will look the other way.

Your very insulting.....
“Quit living off the government tit, and you won’t be so scared of political change.”

I worked very hard for that military retirement pension. My husband and I been married for 23 years now. In our first three years of our marriage I did not see my husband very often. I think I tallied up 120 days he was home when he was attached to the USS Missouri. We were stationed in Long Beach, CA. He went out to sea for his six months deployment with my first child. When he came back from sea he went out to sea again to check something out on the ship. He stayed a week with the family and then out to sea again for a Rim Pack. This went on for six months of coming home for a couple of days and going out to sea... Got the picture. Then he went on his six month deployment and I stayed behind to take care of the baby.

Then we had shore duty but he was busy with that too. I hardly saw him because he had to pull duty, do more training and peform his regular job too. Then out to sea again.

He only stayed in the Navy because he knew after twenty years of service you get a pension. That was a promised made by the DOD.

Being a Navy wife is a difficult one and it requires you to do a lot of sacrificing so your husband could serve his country. So I’m entitled to that Navy retirement check and the healthcare. The government are always looking for ways to cut into the retiree pensions. We have to pay for our healthcare now when the DOD promised my husband he would get free health care for life.

What did we do about it...try to take down the federal government? No....we accepted it and count our blessings.

Political change my friend is not having your day dream revolution of dismantling the government from its foundation. You will have cause and effect if you abolish the IRS, ATF, FBI, DOE, HUD and other alphabet soup government programs. People don’t like radical change....they want reforms done gradually. People still work in those alphabet soup programs and many are counting their paychecks to pay for their mortgages and sending their kids to college.

I’ve been over at the Democrat Underground Website. Many Democrats like the idea of getting the troops out of Iraq. That is the major selling point with Ron Paul but they are not buying into the rest of Ron Paul’s plans of wiping out IRS and other government programs if he becomes President.

In the Democrats mind, how is the government going to fund all their social programs that the Republicans and Democrats been slowly chiseling away recently and trying to reform to the most cost effective way? My husband and I felt those reforms when the government started to change our pension around by having us pay for our healthcare and outsourcing many federal jobs. Congress in the late 1990’s closed many military bases across the country to save money and consolidated many military job specialties into one specialty.

If Ron Paul gets into office the Socialist will scream like r@pe apes if they see any of their turf being challenge. That’s my prediction. It’s simple as Human Nature. Nothing will get done if Ron Paul get elected. There will be no Ron Paul Revolution...No Reform....Nothing except angry constituents who will demand their government representatives to hand over Ron Paul’s Head on a Stick.
