When he isnt calling people fascists for saying Merry Christmas, inciting his minions to disrupt other presidential campaigns or running around the country flirting with the idea that Bushco brought down the Twin Towers, the honorable Dr. Ron Paul is a congressman.
His army of anarchists, anti-war peaceniks and somewhat sane Libertarians like to say that he is a different kind of politician. Turns out hes just another ordinary career politician, earmarking pork for people in his district. Before voting against it for appearance sakes, of course.
So much for a citizen legislature. 20 years and counting? Well, maybe not.
My first reaction to a story about Paul possible losing the congressional race was to laugh it off. But that was before the honorable one lost his last remaining marble. There are a lot of people in his district that say Merry Christmas without the slightest inkling that it is a secret code phrase for fascism.
And when these people start asking questions about that, they are going to find that Ron Paul is the only candidate being endorsed by racists and fascists. Perhaps, when they look, they will ask, is there anyone else running for CD-14s seat?

BTTT to enjoy the continued meltdown
Facts, schmacts....nothing beats a good-old fashioned smear!
I’m sure it was just a little, simple, honest mistake and not an attempt to smear Ron Paul.

*****Ron Paul - Just Another Career Politician

I’ll take that bet!
By the time his loud mouthed hate-filled left-wing supporters are through forcing him to make a fool of himself on the national stage, folks will wonder how he ever got there in the first place...
He’s history!
Unless it’s a fact filled smear... like this one!
My heartfelt apologies...to ALL

Is anyone ever going to directly challenge his statements, or just assassinate the posters?
Ron Paul claims to have never taken a paid political junket, and he also claims to return a portion of his congressional office budget each year. The article is biased and makes false statements, it is written by some one who supports Chris Peden. The claim should be taken with skepticism.
Unless Paul goes Third Party—which I, for one, think he will.
That makes two of us...
Name someone who is not biased one way or another today?
Did he mistate any facts? Or did he just have a biased opinion diggerent than your biased opinion?
Yes, he did mis-state facts. I said that in my post. The article also has logical inconsistencies.
theres a switch
I don't think the word "fact" means what you think it means. Especially if you are going to call this hit piece "fact" filled.
The very first sentence contains three blatant misrepresentations if not outright lies.
If you were looking for a real conversation about the article then I apologize for lumping it in with the rest of the attack articles posted against Ron Paul lately where the OP had no interest in discussion but just wanted another opportunity berate and beat down this candidate and anyone who may support him.
On to the article:
Claim 1: Ron Paul called people fascists for saying Merry Christmas.
This is not true. What Ron Paul did say was that if fascism does come to this country it will probably try to disguise itself in patriotism and the Cross. By saying that the clear implication is that patriotism and Christianity are so unlike fascism that they would be good disguises for those wishing to bring us to a fascistic form of government.
Since Ron Paul considers himself a patriot and a Christian it is quite evident to me that he did not say, as his detractors wish he did, that patriotism and Christianity lead to fascism.
Claim 2: Ron Paul is inciting his supporters to disrupt other presidential campaigns.
This is the first I've heard of that charge. Much of Ron Paul's supporters act without "orders" from the official campaign and come up with action ideas on their own and then implement them.
And even if it were true that the official Ron Paul campaign were directing supporters to disrupt other campaigns I'd have to say, "so what?" This is presidential politics at its hardest. Campaigns should expect disruptions and plan for them. Campaigning for president is not for the faint-hearted.
Claim 3: Ron Paul believes that the Bush administration was involved in a conspiracy to bring down the Twin Towers.
This is just false. Ron Paul was asked that directly during his interview with Glenn Beck and he vehemently denied the claim and said that the question was so outrageous that it really ought not be asked. (The interview can easily be found on YouTube.)
That's just the first sentence. Please let me know how you'd like to proceed with the discussion.
Yeah, sure.

Heck we, Ron Paul supports, hear crap like that everyday on this forum. Why not repost some of their comments instead of trying to intimate that you have a real news article.
Ron Paul has inspired the greatest grass roots campaign in the history of this country.
All those bumper stickers, signs, shirts, etc. have been bought and paid for, for the most part, by Ron Paul supporters.
He is getting millions of dollars of free advertisements every day. His campaign has raised $18 M dollars this quarter and has probably spent less than $1 M raising it.
He has over a 1,000 meet up groups with at least 70,000 members. Most of them are active in supporting his campaign.
He has 100’s of unpaid volunteers in both NH and Iowa, going door to door spreading his message.
After the Iowa and NH votes there is going to be a lot of dead space on this forum, as the Ron Paul detractors commit Hari Kari or some other ritual suicide.
It is a shame that some of the most articulate and informative Ron Paul supporters have been barred from this forum. However, you can post something written by BigJolly as a legitimate news article.

I don’t live in his state, let alone his district, so I won’t take the bet.
I just know his poll numbers are the lowest they’ve been in his two decades there, and if your an incumbent, that means your very very vulnerable.
