"Our class president was ex-military. It slipped in." Yeah, I sort of figured. Military humor is particularly mordant and does not always translate happily into civilian life, where the rules are different. The latter is, after all, what the military is serving to protect.
My own relations with Idaho state law enforcement agents have been without exception professional and admirable. (Even the guy who stopped me for speeding on the flimsy pretext that I was, uh, driving too fast... ;-) )

Well, yes, I agree. That was my point, after all.
Look, folks, lighten up on the Idaho LEO's. They're (mostly, at least) great guys and I'm behind them. They're not all about playing Rambo. I'm usually the first to criticize the JBT's because they're real, but these guys ain't them.

In all seriousness, years ago, I was the only person that survived a car accident and got the diagnosis.
