Movie returns from Friday show this movie, even with all it’s Star Power ,is Bombing Big-time. Skimpy $2.8 Million for Friday with an even worse $6 Million for the weekend. Sorry the Oscar Buzz for this turkey is over, Bring on the Razzies for this movie.

What does it matter how much money a movie makes? The amount of money a movie takes in says nothing about it’s quality. Personally I’d rather see a good movie that loses money rather than a poor movie that makes money.

It matters because that determines how likely it is for Hollywood to make more similar movies. Given that CWW is the first even handed war movie to come out since the big bombfest of the recent anti-Iraq movies it’s failure will basically tell the beancounters they were right, America is just not in the mood for war movies. So all that complaining we were doing telling Hollywood they should make a pro-America movie and it would make tons of money just turned into a bunch of hot air.

Yes your right but perception is reality in the movie biz.
This movie had a sizable budget and a all star cast but did not click with the audience. And yes it matters what a movie makes to the investors who put up the money. It’s all about the bucks!
