Music bumps for posts 763 and 764.

Well, it's a little blustery this afternoon. Forecast to drop down to the mid 20's tonight.

Morning coffee with ... Santa Claus

Published on Saturday, December 22, 2007

Morning Coffee With … is a weekly feature about your neighbors. If you’d like to share information about yourself, answer the same questions and e-mail to svhnews@transedge.com, or look for the ad running in the Herald/Review.

Address: North Pole

Santa Claus also goes by Kris Kringle, Saint Nicholas and Father Christmas. (Metro Creative Connection)
Occupation: Retired, volunteer, philanthropy

How long have you lived in this area? Snowbird. I visit in the winters.

In one word, what was your first impression of the community you live in? Brrrrr.

What are you good at? Organizing massive toy drives.

What is your favorite childhood memory? Receiving a special gift for Christmas.

What is your favorite sports? Reindeer games

What are your favorite films? “Miracle on 34th Street” (1947), “It’s a Wonderful Life” (1946), “The Santa Clause” (1994), “The Polar Express” (2004).

What inspires you? A generous spirit and making true sacrifices for another person.

What kind of personality traits do you admire in a person? Being nice, not naughty. Honesty. Goodness.

You’re making us dinner. What would you serve? Roast turkey with all the trimmings. Cookies and milk for dessert.

Finish this sentence: I’m most happy when … I know that a child’s deepest wish is granted.

If you had enough money to donate, what charitable cause would you support and why? Children’s hospitals.

If you could change one thing about the community you live in, what would it be and why? Stop global warming, save the polar caps.

How do you hope people remember you? For my jolly ways.

Describe your perfect cup of coffee: No coffee, thank you. But I will take a smooth cup of hot chocolate, please.
