I’m sure the “suspect” could say he feared for his life because of the “victim’s” driving. Was deadly force justified? Could simply pointing the gun at these two thugs have been enough to mitigate the situation?

The first thing you learn when taking a gun course is “never” point your gun at anyone unless you intend to use it. It is absolutely they last resort. They tell you there is reason to ever fire a warning shot. When you pull your gun it is to protect your life or a loved ones no other reason.
