It is partly a function of our market. We operate in an area (coastal California) where people with political power put as many constraints on new construction as anywhere in the country. So making nice to econazis might be seen as a defensive tactic. Our marketing is designed to exploit our Greenness. Beyond that, I agree, it is odd.
