A Good Time to Be John McCain (He beats Obama and Hillary by 2)
Rasmussen Reports ^ | December 20, 2007 | Rasmussen Reports

Posted on 12/20/2007 7:33:53 AM PST by Kuksool

A man whose Presidential campaign was left for dead last summer has picked up a round of significant endorsements from the Manchester Union Leader, the Des Moines Register, the Boston Globe, and Senator Joe Lieberman.

He has the highest favorable rating (52%) and the smallest number committed to voting against him (33%) of any Presidential candidate in either party (see key stats for all Republican and Democratic candidates). In the wake of his recent endorsements, McCain has moved into third place in Iowa and within a few points of the lead in New Hampshire.

McCain is far, far preferable to a snake (Romney) or a liberal (Rudy).

No way I'd ever vote for him in a primary, but at least he'd be someone I could vote for in the general election.

I have said for months that the MSM anointed John McCain and will see to it that he is the nominee.

McCain knee-capped Bill Frist and now we have fewer conservative judges than we could have had. I trust him less than Rudy myself. The McCainiac is not a friend of the conservatives. McCain-Fiengold CFR and McCain-Kennedy amnesty might as well be Mien Kampf.

I respect John McCain for the fact that he survived years of physical and emotional torture in an NVA prison camp-and survived.I doubt i would have made it.That being said,i would never vote for the man.Simply too liberal.

More favorable polling for McCain.

Not really it is just a paid for match up, doesn't mean anything he has not made any movement anywhere else that matters. The worn out old man needs to retire and go fishing.

If it comes down to a choice between McCain and Hillary or Obama, I might.... It makes me cringe to even think about it. Sad to think our great nation has come to this.

McCain’s only hope for the white house is to run as a third party with Joe Lieberman as VP... this would be a formidable third party run and I think has a good chance of pulling it off. He will NEVER get the republican party nod but he would draw a lot of lib/ind/dems/and liberal leaning reps to his side especially against Hillary and most of the other Reps.

At least Romney says he will stop the illegal invasion...McCain was Ted Kennedy's best ally in enabling said invasion.

On a related note, I sometimes wonder what the so-called conservative Romney said to win Mass.

The McCain/Feingold Campaign Finance Reform, infringment on free speech. He was one of the powers behind Comprehensive Immigration Reform, (amnesty). Gunowners of America gives him an F on gun votes. He and one of the liberal gun grabbers, I think it may have been Lieberman tried to run a bill to end gun shows a few years ago. Check him out carefully, he isn't what he portrays himself to be.

In 1992 people in Arkansas who knew the Clintons tried to warn the country, now some of us in Arizona who know McCain are trying to warn the country, please listen to us.

The McCain List.

McCain now holds two-point edge over Obama and Hillary in general election matchups.

He has the highest favorable rating (52%) and the smallest number committed to voting against him (33%) of any Presidential candidate in either party
