Fourth Bus Attack Investigated Thursday, December 20, 2007 WBAL Radio
A fourth MTA bus incident now under investigation.
MTA police are looking into a reported fight between two groups of teens on a bus yesterday afternoon.
Earlier this week a teenaged girl was stabbed during a fight on a bus near Mondawmin Mall.
Later today the MTA is due to outline a new cooperation plan between police agencies in the rash of bus attacks.
I guess that’s true in some areas of the country. Not here. I for one won’t stand still and let some thug rob me or someone else without a fight. Most others around my area won’t either.
“Do you notice that we are not hearing anything from the media, prosecuters etc about these being hate crimes? If a potential victim defends himself or his family from one of these attacks he will be branded a racist and will be charged with hate crimes.”
Realistically. they can’t charge blacks with a hate crime in Baltimore or any city with a large black population. There would be marches, protests, and civil unrest.
If they charge a white person with a hate crime the whites won’t burn the city down.
The eastside Yoders, no doubt.
I work in Pikesville (Baltimore County) and live in Howard County, so I don’t go into the city that often. I’ve found that there are a few areas of the city that are responsible for 99% of the violence, but that’s enough to put Baltimore on the map as one of the worst hellholes in the country.
“Most” is a very subjective word.
I cry when I drive through the city; block after collapsing deteriorating block. It is so bad that distributors of Section 8 housing vouchers are suing the County that surrounds Baltimore City to offer more neighborhoods accessible to Section 8 tenants. Even they cannot live in the city neighborhoods that are hellholes.
And all that does is turn the County neighborhoods into hellholes...see Windsor Mill and Randallstown for examples.
Sell the damn city to Pennsylvania so Philadelphia will look better.

This is a very informative interactive database regarding homicides in Baltimore City. It is necessary to choose a time interval in the first button, then choose any breakdown of race, sex, age, etc or choose all to see the destruction going on in the city.
If more than 20 children, under 18, died of any disease like food poisoning or MRSA, for example, the news would be all over it. Since it is “just” murder, it doesn’t make the paper, except in this database.
While there are areas that are ‘safe’, - no murders in Roland Park - the ‘few’ crime-ridden ‘inner city’ neighborhoods are spreading towards the city boundaries.
Precisely and sadly correct.
Is there a problem with thugs kissing random citizens- on the buses, perhaps?
Where’s Cuomo and Obama on this.
England is living a version of that movie now.
wow.....32 posts and the deniers have yet to show up
where are youze guys?
Sad.

Normal usage is only one internal “s” for the vehicle and two for multiple osculation. Thus when one sees the word ‘busses’ in print one normally associates it with the romance that is usually not associated with the people haulers.
They're low for rape, average for robbery, and in the Top Five (of the largest 52 US cities, ending with Wichita, KS) in aggravated assault. They're also about average for property crimes.
If the courts put the juvenile gang bangers behind bars, where they belong, there would be no problem. The responsibility lies with the courts, who empower the minority gangbangers, by their use of restorative justice. My guess is that, like Philadelphia, the minority offenders in Baltimore, never serve the required minimus sentence for any offense.
