Perhaps not, but we’ve entered many countries without regard for either their culture or the consequences. If you think 9/11 happened just because some folks woke up one morning and decided on a whim to fly planes into our public and private buildings because we are a free people, then you might was well refrain from participating in meaningful discussion with regard to foreign policy.

His meteoric rise in fundraising has Clinton/Soros’s fingerprints all over it. Just enough to make noise, not enough to raise eyebrows.
Hillary has just about maxed out her current donor base and they probably suggested that the maxed out donors (people that gave the total amount allowable by law) funnel funds to Paul instead.
With a 49% negative, they need him or some other useful idiot to run as a 3rd party if she’s to stand a chance in the national election.
Don’t put anything past these people.

May I humbly suggest that you need to post something in breaking news informing all who enter free republic that you’ve been appointed doorkeeper for foreign policy discussion here on free republic. You might also wish to make all aware that they must accept Ron Paul’s peculiar delusions before being allowed to discuss foreign policy with their betters.

And, FYI, I do happen to think they flew those planes into our buildings because ‘we are free’. Yes, free, because we have not submitted to their version of Islam and because they see that ‘freedom’ as the largest impediment to the grandiose dreams of Muslim hegemony of the world.

“Perhaps not, but we’ve entered many countries without regard for either their culture or the consequences.”

There are consequences of our “entering” or “not entering any country”. Isolationism does not protect us from consequences.

besides, it worked in Spain and France!

Oh wait...no it didn’t. Parts of Paris are being burned to the ground.

Oh well, so much for THAT argument!
