I am sure this will have ramifications and unintended consequences, we haven’t even begun to think of.

Like the millions of these bulbs that will NOT be taken to the hazardous waste centers but tossed in the trash - contaminating every landfill in the country with mercury?

How much Super Fund money will it take to clean up every landfill in the country?

How many privates homes will have the problem this lady has - and how many children will be exposed to mercury vapor?

The state, in this article, tried to weasel out, lying about the state mandate for disposing these - your state does/will have the same mandates. READ it WELL

I am sure the problems with the compact bulbs will continue. The government didn’t do enough research here. I am sad that they overwhemly passed this stupid bill.
