I could be way off, but my prediction is that he's dropping out and endorsing Thompson.

If he’s dropping out of the presidential campaign, will he also announce that he is running for re-election as a congressman?

I think I heard somewhere that he will not run for re-election.

I could be way off, but my prediction is that he's dropping out and endorsing Thompson. That was my first reaction; especially recalling Thompson's comments to the effect that "there's more to come" after Steve King's endorsement earlier this week.
But, time will tell.

My two cents: he will drop out and endorse BOTH of them as strong border candidates.

He announced at the end of October that no matter what, he wouldn’t be running for reelection... so unless he’s changed his mind in a major way, that won’t be it.
I sort of hope it is, though.

I could be way off, but my prediction is that he's dropping out and endorsing Thompson. Or going 3rd party, there to fall into unlamented obscurity.

Hey, don't forget about John Cox and Alan Keyes. They're all strong on the border too.
"While legal immigration is good for America, illegal immigration hurts our economy and strains our public services. Amnesty is not the answer, nor are "guest workers." We need Citizens who want to become part of our nation, learn English and contribute to the economy. I will crack down on businesses that hire - and exploit - illegal labor. We must protect our borders and enforce our laws."

Endorse Duncan Hunter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I could see it ideologically, but then again, I can't.
They're both so close in the polls it'd be a wasted endorsement. Sorry. But I DO understand your pain, pissant :>)
OTOH, see my upthread post. I suspect if he does drop out, and in turn endorses anyone, it'll be Thompson. But like I said upthread, time will tell.

I would literally be shocked if he endorsed Fred. It would be very un-Tancredo like.
