McCain has no chance of gaining the nomination, let alone winning in the General Election cycle.

All you need to remember is it took this guy a full WEEK to make up his mind to tell John Kerry ‘No, I won’t be your VP candidate’.

You're well off the mark, Badeye. Look a little closer.

McCain delayed a week before saying "no" to Kerry's vp plea to provide a news build-up/anticipation prior to the emphatic "no".

The "no" had much more public ring to it - and putting-down of Kerry - because of this.

(If McCain, had said "yes", Kerry would be President today and McCain, indeed, vp.)

We would do well also to remember that McCain campaigned all-out and big-time for Bush and the Republicans in 2004. And in the process raised over three million dollars for the national GOP.
