...DEVELOPING...

NATIONAL ENQUIRER WORLD EXCLUSIVE: JOHN EDWARDS LOVE CHILD SCANDAL!

The woman linked to Presidential candidate John Edwards in a cheating scandal is more than six months pregnant and telling a close confidante that Edwards is the father of her unborn child, The NATIONAL ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.

The NATIONAL ENQUIRER's political bombshell comes just weeks after Edwards emphatically denied having an affair with Rielle Hunter, who formerly worked on his campaign.

But The ENQUIRER has now confirmed not only that Rielle is pregnant, but she is also living in Chapel Hill, N.C. in a gated community, just a few streets away from Andrew Young, who has been a key official in Edwards' campaign.

Young has been in charge of looking after Hunter, according to sources, and she has been careful to stay out of sight during Edwards' campaign. A former Director of Operations for Edwards' campaign, Young's last official position with the campaign was North Carolina Finance Director.

He left that job about a month ago — nearly the same time Rielle relocated from the New Jersey area to Chapel Hill.

In a bizarre twist, Young, a 41-year-old married man with young children, now claims HE is the father of Reille's baby.

But others are skeptical about his claim and talk of a political cover up is heating up.

Reille, when contacted in person by the NATIONAL ENQUIRER, denied that she was Reille Hunter. Later, she hired a lawyer and issued a statement, saying that Young is the father.

But a source close to the 43-year-old divorcee says Rielle has told a far different story privately.

"Rielle told me she had a secret affair with Edwards. When she found out that she was pregnant she said he was the father."

Rielle loves Edwards and will do anything to protect him, the source said.

The NATIONAL ENQUIRER has obtained exclusive photos of a visibly pregnant Rielle and learned from close sources that she has been in phone contact with Edwards. That information has not been denied by anyone.

"Rielle told me while Andrew Young is a friend, she's not romantically involved with him," says the source close to Rielle.

MORE DETAILS WILL BE POSTED HERE LATER AND ARE IN THE NEXT EDITION OF THE NATIONAL ENQUIRER!

I SOOOO want this story to be true. Then the rest of the world will see what I see: a sleazy, phony, amoral scumbag.

But that describes every Democrat politician I've witnessed in my lifetime.

I suppose Joe Lieberman could have a "Road to Damascus" moment, become pro-life, and switch to the GOP, but I ain't holding my breath.

seems like a lot of love children running around.

Then there’s that two-time loser Rudy...now THAT’s a man to lead the country in moral leadership. Too bad his own kids won’t campaign for him. Maybe attorney general, okay, but president???? Okay, maybe Whitehouse Security.

I’m tellng you, you guys are counting out McCain, but he is bouncing back for an old f*rt.

I read the Nat’l Enquirer—because some fiction can be fun.

STILL, they are correct about 20% of the time (From my “scientific” study!!!).

BTW: Remember that a lawyer for the Enquirer (Kindall) was once (is?) one of clinton’s lawyers.

RCP Average 12/05 - 12/16 (National)
Clinton 42.6%
Obama 26.1%
Edwards 13.0%

A good showing in Iowa, even a win, won't save Edwards nationally. Also Edwards has put more effort in Iowa than any of the candidates. If he loses there he is really over.

I've got a theory about the Edwards candidacy, but it's very much politically IN-correct, so I don't know if I should blurt it out for fear of invoking the wrath of the Admin Moderator.

But within the realm of socially acceptable discourse, if Edwards could win Iowa, and then somehow build on that to win South Carolina, then he would definitely have some momentum.

He is way behind in South Carolina. I don’t see how he could win that.

The NQ does more fact checking than you might think. Drudge typically doesn’t go for supermarket stuff unless he has some other info. Wonder if this lady’s baby will have a nice head of silky hair.

Maybe he can't.

But this recent Hillary-Obama tiff opened up a little daylight for Edwards, which is why Team Hillary is dumping this dirt tonight.

They need to nip it in the bud.

Gawd her legs are gross. Edwards voted for the Iraq res just like Shrillary so it stands to reason his support would fall to her and not Obama.

Nah, Edward’s supporters are more likely to run to Hillary. Dems do care about elect-ability.

OK. The woman says it’s not Edwards kid.

The man having a relationship with the woman says it is his.

But an ‘unidentified’ source (do I have to say it?) on the National Enquirer (and who is part owner of the Nat’l Enq.?)
says it is John Edwards baby.

I CALL B.S.!
