Dr. Keyes is in the race for one reason....to further the cause of conservatism by helping channel the dialog in areas most candidates attempt to avoid.
Examine his FEC official filings. They paint a very different picture. I think running for president is just his gig. Might be his gig for the next 20-30 years. What will you say to "Keyes 2020" when he's still in debt?
After a certain number of years, isn't it warranted to conclude that someone is a deadbeat on their debts? He owes a half-million he has no hope to pay off and yet he runs for office again. That's beyond all the money he paid in past campaigns to his own family members. Maybe back in 2000, you could still overlook it. But we're another eight years down the road now. At some point, the facts stack up and demand a conclusion about these serial Alan Keyes "campaigns".
At least Ron Paul isn't a campaign deadbeat. He pays his campaign bills.

‘At least Ron Paul isn’t a campaign deadbeat. He pays his campaign bills.’
Fair point. I have no use for Keyes and his messiah complex.
