‘People inside say they don’t like eating with violent fighting nearby. ‘

Sources suggest that there are indications people also object to eating near unburied corpses and, in what may be a hate-crime issue, they do not desire to sit next to bearers of the bubonic plague.

It is easier to take action against good law abiding citizens than to wade into the a crowd of criminals and take control. Criminals are just not gonna put up with that crap. The authorities know who they can push around.

Not to be too obvious, but if our councilman wants to help, why not enact an ordnance strengthening the penalties for the law breakers.

In other words, lock the goons up. That has frequently been found to deter crime.

“No. Ithink there should be better security. There was a guard there but he didn't really do much,” Dartel Delarosa said. "

It's the fault of the security guard...he didn't stop me.

Black leaders will whine when one more business moves out.

In the LA area, what I’ve noticed is that if an establishment wants to keep riff raff out, they make it cost prohibitive for them. This seems to be effective. Maybe Denny’s should take a look at that $50 prix fixe grand slam menu.

After seeing the video, these sure don’t look like “working class” people. They look like thugs and kids who should be at home at that time of night. Unless they are coming of a late shift at some factory, they have no business being out after 11pm. Nothing good happens after 11pm.

Once I viewed the video I saw what the problem was. Too many young punks running around in the with no supervision. They don’t need a security guard, they need a couple of bouncers with five-cell Maglites to bust some heads. Of course then they would be sued out of existence.

The ONLY thing a certain class of people understands is brute force as they are immune to reason.

Ah, urban culture. Isn't it wonderful?

I'm sure the constant 2am fights (250 in less than 2 years) have nothing to do with gangs or drugs/alcohol or race or anything like that.

I can’t stop laughing after watching the video.

Anyone else remember Denny’s being sued because they wouldn’t seat/wait on african Americans a couple of years ago?

(chuckle)

Now what? Sue Denny’s because they won’t provide a fight ref?

TODAY’S TMJ4’s Mick Trevey: “Do you think there should be people fighting in a Denny’s restaurant?”

Isn’t that one of the dumbest questions you’ve ever heard?

Ahhhh, the memories of a Denny’s breakfast at 2:00am after a night of “socializing.”

Police are called their constantly, nearly every other night according to police reports.

Two writers to this article (according to the link) and neither one of them caught this boo-boo? Isn't there any such thing as an editor anymore?
