...How many pantsuits does Hillary Clinton have in her closet? And does she ever wear them in the same combination more than once? The pantsuit is Clinton's uniform. Hers is a mix-and-match world, a grown-up land of Garanimals: black pants with gray jacket, tan jacket with black pants...There are a host of reasons to explain Clinton's attachment to pantsuits. They are comfortable. They can be flattering, although not when the jacket hem aligns with the widest part of the hips (hypothetically speaking, of course). Does she even have hips?...
Women have come a long way from the time when wearing a pair of pants was considered "borrowing from the boys." So it would be highly regressive to suggest that the candidate is using trousers to heighten the perception that she can be as tough as a man. And yet . . .
This is a campaign in which gender stereotypes are being challenged even as the old assumptions are proving stubborn and resilient....
With the male candidates, the nuances of their attire matters: the fit of the suit collar, the color of the tie. But with Clinton, one must first get past distractions such as that pink blazer -- the one John Edwards didn't like so much -- before the details can be considered.
What would possess a woman to wear a jacket the color of a geranium in full bloom and then imply she doesn't want anyone to notice or comment on her clothes? Yesterday, someone posted a picture of N. Korea’s leader to show a comparison of his wardrobe and Hillary’s. Pretty close.
Mrs. Clinton is tastefully dressed once in a while.
Its her version of the Mao jacket.
"Diamonds or pearls?"
"What is your favorite color of pantsuit Hillary?"
"Oh really? That's mine too! I am so voting for you, girl!"
I think I saw the comparison too. I just can’t believe that she would do that intentionally. I don’t agree with anything she stands for but I think she is somewhat sane and wants the presidency and can’t imagine doing anything to hurt her chances. Now after she wins...shutter, then anything goes with her.
It is important to discuss Hillary’s fashion sense as it indicates how she will act as the leader of the free world.
Washington Post refuses to focus on charges laid out in “Whitewash: What the Media Won’t Tell You About Hillary Clinton, but Conservatives Will “ co-authored by L. Brent Bozell and Tim Graham.
And they pass this drivel off as legitimate political commentary.
Do bears [blank] in the woods? Is the Pope Catholic? Is Al Gore full of bear [blank]?
That was when LADIES wore dresses, and looked, smelled and acted like a woman.
Sweet mother of pearl, where was the toxic warning, fer cryin out loud? Now my mouse refuses to scroll for fear of what will come next.
I have seen her in person on numerous occasions and if someone told her to haul a**, she would have to make several trips.
The ugly stick was busy on her.
