I love that one by Judy Garland. Also, “Little Drummer Boy” by the Harry Simeone Chorale.

<>I>Ill Be Home For Christmas
If only in my dreams ...
That one makes me misty-eyed, every time. Especially in a time when so many Americans are by necessity so far from where they want to be. I'm sure that song is being sung in Kabul and Baghdad.
To: MS.BEHAVIN
Red beans and rice are fine too.

Oh, so few to choose from. No, really, take a look at the Christmas albums out there, who needs to hear another lame interpretation of _______________ (your favourite song title there) by this year's teenage idol?
So, other than the traditional Christmas carols that we sang in church when we was little, it'll be the ones by Johnny Preston, Brenda Lee and Chuck Berry. Alan Jackson had a good new one a few years ago, I forget the title. And of course, Santa Baby, but please, by Eartha Kitt, and the Jerry Leiber, Mike Stoller classic sung by Elvis, where the lyrics say and they mean it, you know what "coming down your chimney tonight"!
