Uh...if the apology was genuine, then is the article retracted? Or will it still be published? Just wondering.

Many sermons made by LDS former leaders contain 'errors'; at least that's what so many apologists say when these facts are presented, yet THEY continue to get 'published'.

Seems like you are trying to skirt the issue with Huckabee, which is what this thread is about, and what my question is about.

Simply put, I was just wondering if, as a sincere apology, has he asked the people at Times not to publish something where he mispoke and genuinely feels sorry about?

That's all, it is really a straight forward question

If he genuinely feels he did not mispeak, and is not sorry, then say so and go forward, straight forward, with the story.

But he also should not speak, IMHO, out of both sides of his mouth, and say to the one offended that he is sorry, while still allowing the very thing he says he is sorry for to be published to the world, most of which will not have heard of the apology.
