Last week, a line was crossed. A terrible line was crossed at Annapolis. With the world looking on, the President of the United States sponsored Judeophobia. Jew-hatred was okay, understandable even.
Under the auspices of a global "peace" conference, the White House sanctioned Jew-hatred. The Jew is contemptible, inferior, ignorant, politically and socially disenfranchised: separate entrance ways, service entrances for the Jews, refusal to touch or shake hands with a Jew, refusal of audience members to wear the translation earphones when Ehud Olmert spoke.
"Saud Al-Faisel's ears, underneath his red keffiyah, were left bare. And no, it wasn't because he understood Hebrew. It was the Saudi method of demonstrating their relationship to the State of Israel. Even as the Israeli Prime Minister was greeting him and speaking of peace, they were refusing to listen. For a minute I thought I was wrong that maybe there was a technical problem. But then I saw his aide next to him - also leaving his ears demonstrably naked."
Then, as Olmert's speech ended, and the audience applauded: "The Saudi representative also brought his palms together in order to appear polite. Only someone who sat very close to him could see that the never touched. The little game that the Saudis were playing was just one contradiction - the least noticeable one - in a day full of contradictions." ...(Read more more here.)
Submitting to Saudi demands, the Americans prohibited Israeli representatives from entering the hall through the same door as the Arabs. Vile - all of it; sanctioned and institutionalized by the President of the United States. I thought George Bush was a Christian, a man of faith. Shocking. He has squandered his second term and has not acted in good faith. We did not elect him to carry Condi's water.
It is unfathomable to consider this with any other race, creed or color. Imagine separate entrances for the leader of an African nation because a "white" leader refused to walk through the same door as the black man, because it would be unclean?
And Israel took it like the ghetto Jew. They should have walked out like any self-respecting human would have done. But no, they lowered the bar yet again. Offering all and getting nothing. Sheba Farms, Golan, Jerusalem - all of it in play. The post-Oslo Jew has returned to the pre-Holocaust mentality of the "ghetto Jew." The Jew who doesn't want to be noticed, the Jew who will do anything to appease those who hate us, just to live in peace. Instead of asserting our rights, our will, that we have a right, that we are the rightful heirs of Israel and Jerusalem, we are acting as if we have no rights. Instead, we are begging - begging - our enemies to recognize us and accept us!" Behaving like beggars! And the silence of American Jews - well, it's the ghetto mentality mixed with those who have assimilated into American culture: the "let's not rock the boat" crowd.
Continuing this tragedy, Condoleezza Rice later proclaimed, "I know what it's like as a Palestinian." Such willful stupidity is unacceptable in a US Secretary of State. Rice knows little about the history of the Middle East, the politics, the Koran, the Jews - none of it. This ignorant remark says it all. The Palestinians are not the blacks of the Civil Rights movement or era; Abbas is not the great non-violent civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King (what an insult to even think this!); and Dr. King was a Zionist, a lover of Israel and the Jewish people's right to it. The Jews are not the KKK or the police with the dogs, either; this is not the old South, this the very violent, blood-lusting Middle East.
She doesn't know what it means to be a Jew, to watch innocent people, babies, children, the old, the young, the tourist be blown to bits; shards of flesh flying in every direction, blood, guts strewn everywhere, missing body parts, and the survivors, with nails, nuts and bolts throughout their bodies, marred for life. My dear friend Wolf nailed it when she she said Rice doesn't know what it's like to have monsters throwing rocks at your car as you drive, to have bombs thrown at you, to live under constant mortar fire and have to spend the night in a bomb shelter. She doesn't know the feeling of the parents who lost their sons when the boys went on a hike near where they lived, only to be brutally murdered by barbarians who had bashed in their heads beyond all recognition. They were left to be discovered in a cave. She knows rien, nothing.
A line in the sand was crossed last week. And anyone who claims that Annapolis was a big yawn and that nothing would come of it is living in the land of unicorns and moonbeams. The Jew as dhimmi was made official and the world was there to bear witness. Moreover, Israel laid down. Sheba Farms, Golan, Jerusalem - all were thrown on the table like so many marbles.
Bat Yeor was dead right in her reply when I asked her what had become of the people of Israel: "Israel is unworthy of her ancestors."
Sigh... Where do I even begin? The article is true and before Annapolis happened most people on this forum knew exactly what it meant. Sellout of Israel for Saudi stroking and a pitiful attempt to end the Administrations term with a legacy. Hmmm... Didn’t Clinton do the same thing and fail?
From a Judeo-Christian stand-point this Administration went secular turning their back on God and becoming involved in milleniums old fued between the sons of Abraham. Stern warnings are given by God for nations not to partake in this affair. Both the Jews and Ishmael both have a place at God’s table and both nations being corrected by God, His way and on His timetable.
Now, from a purely secular and tactical stand-point I see nothing but calamity from Israel having their arch enemies able to gather en masse right within their own midst. If we are not going to help defend our staunch ally as the security apparatus keeping peace through strength in the Middle East and assign it instead to militant, Islamic Saudi Arabia (note the $20B arms deal recently with them) what does it tell Iran? It tells the mad mullahs they can attack Israel and the world will just watch and do nothing. Do we think the price of oil based economy is going to drop when Iran makes it’s move? Little disturbing Russia’s Putin is more then just involved in blocking resolutions on Iran’s nuke program. Guess our about face may have given Putin reason to believe we are weak and inept.
I guess that is exactly what the prophet Ezekial saw and documented in the war of Gog and Magog (Ezekial 38).
Does our State Department and Administration feel we can place our entire way of life into the hands of the Saudi’s? Apparently so. I guess we will just ignore the infitada funding from the House of Saud, exporting violent Islamic Whabbism to all parts of the globe. Oh yeah, where did 11 of those 20 hijjackers originate from again?
And what about Israel? That grinning idiot Olmert was more then happy to just be in the same room as a pawn of empires, when Israel has more then earned there right as a regional superpower and has the military strength to prove it.
How about our worldwide allies? If I were a leader of any nation on earth, I would not have confidence the USA will watch my back unless I have petro for sale. It’s going to get very ugly for Americans and very soon I fear. We, after all elect our own leaders. We are also accountable for this horrendous behavior and I see a major correction coming. Some call that judgment but if we are judged and corrected, it is because we have chosen to follow the path of other empires that became rotten from the top all the way down.
I did not vote for him to carry Condi's water. And I assure you I did not elect him to betray Israel. This great nation humbled for oil because of dims and RINOs. I never thought I would live to see the day.
Where do our present candidates stand on Israel?
Where do they stand on dismantling the non-elected government of the USA?
Will anyone of them correct the evil at State?
Inquiring minds demand to know.
The 'grown-up' thing to do would have been to cancel the entire farce. Or better yet tell Olmert that if he wants to commit national suicide he can do it without our assistance.
I agree with both of you.
Hmmm. That is very true. The Saudi’s may not want to shake Jewish hands, but they did issue a fatwah to there entire nation that Israel had the green light to kick Hezbollah’s ass in Lebanon. The surrender monkey Olmert and his moronic air force defense minister thought dropping some bombs would be enough to dislodge them. This was a military blunder for the history books.
True friends put a gentle hand on your shoulder to steady you when you are acting ridiculous. So as to protect you from yourself. They don't join with your enemies.
“United States: state sponsor of judeophobia.”
what an hysterical insult to the american president and to all the brave israelis who fought so many times to save their country from being overrun.
there wasn’t a single word of condemnation for the arabs who took part in what was probably to have been an attempt
at some sort of peace or lessening of violence. their behavior was embarassing and not that of civilized adults. (notice the acts of barbarism, the bombings, the acts of brutality committed against the israelis without a peep of condemnation by the arab world.)
one wonders what would have been a perfect outcome for the author of the article. maybe he can ride to the rescue and brilliantly come up with a solution to what so many have tried so hard to remedy?
the israelis are courageous, freedom-loving people who do not behave the way the terrorists do; they stand up and state their intentions to the world when they go about protecting themselves. to say that israelis are returning to the “pre-holocaust mentality of the ghetto jew” is insulting, demeaning and without any relation to reality.
it seems the author was on the verge of calling the american president a terrorist and so many brave israelis a bunch of no-account sheep.
maybe the author had an over-abundance of camel nuggets, some of which he felt compelled to put on paper.
Good. I agree with both of us, too.
But, this oxymoronic bandying about of "phobia" and linking it to the other grossly overused word, "hate" has to stop.
(bump for awareness of Bush’s Jew hatred)
That is true.
But as it is the arrogant Saudis bigots who have the problem the US should have offered them the option of entering through the back door, the coal chute or the servants entrance while our good friends, the Israelis entered through the front door.
This decision to treat the Saudis a honored guests and treat the Israelis as a second rate class of people is disgusting.
Our leaders need to attend a sensitivity seminar and make a sincere apology to the Israeli people.

I’m no friend of the Saudis, and I basically agree with you. I’m just pointing out that Bush didn’t make this decision alone. Evidently Olmert agreed to it. Both of them thought it was worth while, for whatever reason, to have the meeting.
Agreeing to the meeting is not necessarily appeasement, it may just be window dressing or PR or some effort to balance the Sunnis against the Shia. Who knows? The whole business seems stupid to me, and to most Freepers. But it really is pointless to put the blame on Bush as if Olmert is entirely innocent. He agreed to it, for whatever reason. And his record of defending Israel is, regretably, worse than Bush’s. We don’t even know who wanted this meeting most, Bush or Olmert.

“wrong...the author is a she...”
o.k. so SHE had an over-abundance of camel nuggets.
(the jew’s ann coulter?)
...sounds more like a transplanted, secular, american democrat who hates george bush and wants to see israel dismantled and flung to the furthest corners of the world.
The whole thing was a sham from the beginning and as an American citizen I feel Bush and his clan owes Israel an apology....won’t hapen of course. This should show the world AGAIN that Jews speak of true peace and the Arabs will not have it. Watching America take the side of terrorists that have murdered and paid for the murder of Jews was appalling...seeing the fat Arab cats not shaking hands, doing nothing than disrespecting the whole idea of Annapolis is appalling and Bush and Condi should be ashamed they carry a policy of NOT dealing with terrorist thugs and then they try to make the Israeli’s do it? Worse than pathetic, it churns my stomach this hypocrisy.
The more I observe Bush and his administration, the more consistent his behavior has become with an arrogant Skull & Bones/Mason who has more loyalty to a brotherhood which will sell out America if they can advance a some perverted New World order agenda.
I used to lump all that language as conspiracy theory and lunatic fringe, but people like the Bushes and Clintons merely behave in fashions which are so consistent with it that both their behavior and the theories only appear explicable due to the success of both, because people really don’t think its happening.
Even if not stated in mainstream media, my lasting impression of Bush is a family which deep in their hearts have condoned homosexuality, abortion, and the destruction of Israel, by behaving in a fashion they believe is saavy to garner the trust of conservatives as they open the doors to the enemy.
I have no doubt that if the Bush family could gain a villa in Dubai, they’d sell the US Constitution out in a heartbeat and believe they were right in their own eyes for doing so.
The Palistinian civilian population ARE the terrorists. Any war against terrorism MUST be fought against their citizenry, period.
The only choices that should be offered are surrender and peace... or war and death.
“where do they stand on dismantling the non-elected government of the usa.”
how would one dismantle the “non-elected” government of the usa?
