COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - The man who killed four people at a church and missionary training center died of a self-inflicted shotgun wound, police said Tuesday.
Matthew Murray, 24, was struck multiple times by a security officer at New Life Church Sunday but died after firing a single shot at himself, the El Paso County Coroner's Office concluded after an autopsy.

And you don’t quit firing until they are dead, or you are out of bullets.
One can tell she has had ‘professional’ handgun training.

If it’s true she lied the MSM should love her, she is trying to be like the Clintoons.
This whole thing is so that instead of the media reporting “the loan gunmen who killed X number of people before being gunned down by an armed citizen” they can now report “the loan gunmen who killed X number of people before taking his own life.” I predict the headline will be changed.
They are trying to marginalize the heroic act she did and the role of her faith in all of this, which is obvious to anyone who has any faith themselves and is familiar with the drive by media.
I hope that this will bring some peace to the security guard knowing that it was her actions that stopped this carnage, but the gunman took his own life. Shame on those who would call her anything but a hero.

When I first heard he alledgedly shot himself, I thought the same thing.
Especially since I had read that she was a deeply religious Christian, and always had been.
She vanquished the monster. She is the hero.
And so is the other security person who assisted her by trying to distract the killer.
Coming at this purely from a man’s perspective here ...
She had been fired?

He may have killed himself but at least the woman was there to make it want to do it before he killed any more people.
Bottom line: She stopped the attack (with an assist from at least one other parishoner). Who cares if he then chose to end his life.

This women has EARNED a Freedom Medal, unlike say Tenet.

Sometimes one door shuts, and another opens, but it isn’t until something like this that we see the ‘wisdom’ of God’s ways.
That is not a “woman’s perspective”. Anybody who has taken another human life, even in self-defense, is forever changed.
