They are already turning the smoke grenades into GRENADES ! Better for the film at 11 crew.....
If the guy knew to take them along I have to assume he knew when and where popping a few smokes would be as tactically advantageous as anything that goes boom.
Wonder if the MSM will get that part right, or poopoo the smokes.
