The male victim who helped rush the shooter was interviewed on our local NBC TV news affilate. The quotes come from there. It was then picked up on our local radio stations who have reported it repeatedly.

This would explain that interview I saw on KKTV's online site with a parishioner who had shotgun pellets in his arm, but was mystified because he never saw a shotgun in the perp's hands.
