It was the Vietnam Vet who stated that the gun was jammed, and that he cleared the chamber... Perhaps he “cleared” it into the perp’s head??? I don’t know it’s all speculation as to what could’ve happened at that point because none of the witness testimony mentions Bourbonnais firing the weapon — except when he said he “cleared the chamber” of the “jammed” gun... And, there was no witness statements that indicated that they saw Murray turn his gun on himself, either... Very strange... Unless Murray fired and was hit by a ricocheted bullet? Considering all the armor he had on though it would’ve been a “lucky” shot to have been killed by his own ricocheted round...
He could have jammed one gun and then dispatched himself with the other after being mortally wounded by our heroine.
