I HATE DEER HUNTERS !
When I had a farm in Tennessee, I was always plagued by redneck lowlifes out of Memphis that would poach on my property.
There style is to shoot anything that moves and ask questions later.

When I lived on a corn farm in Michigan, I often wondered (only half-seriously) why I wasn’t allowed to fire back at poachers.

I call them gun toting bubbas. I have no respect for them at all. True hunters, yes.

A friend of mine had a hunter in her backyard! She and the neighbors feed deer year round and some jackass decided he'd take the easy way out. He is an idiot... no hunting within city limits, etc. I told her she should put this sign next to the private property one: Hunt here, die here.

There is a BIG difference between a hunter and a POACHER. I am a hunter. Along with my friends, we have helped supply food for the poor through “hunters for the hungry”, we have donated time and money to help the disabled fulfill dreams of hunting deer, turkey, wild boar etc. We have also raised enough funds to buy the State of Tennessee three robotic deer decoys to aid in capturing road poachers.

The media and many people call anyone who wears camo and commits a crime a ‘hunter”.

If the person in this story shot a dog by mistake, they were no hunter, they were just an idiot.

I’ve still got some hunting property outside of Nashville. I’ve actually caught guys in treestands on my property and one even had the gall to ask me what I was doing on his property.

Ditto! I had a farm here in Pennsylvania (1/2 mile from state game lands) and I spent every hunting season with a bullhorn by my side. Liars and poachers are rampant. some people think a hunting license gives them the right to trespass anywhere.

I take issue with the "redneck" remarks, as well as the "lowlife" remarks, and the "I HATE DEER HUNTERS". First off, not every deer hunter is a lowlife, redneck. Second off, not every "lowlife" knows how to hunt (in fact, lowlifes in my opinion are criminals who live in CITIES). As far as redneck comments go, I just think that people need to lighten up a bit in this country and stop applying such names to people. Basically, though, I will say that your experiences with BAD HUNTERS is enough to put anyone off, but please don't apply that hatred to all of us.
