Are there no bars left in Delaware? Of Course not, there are plenty.

Your friends were bad businessmen and just want to put the blame on somebody else.

Nice try, but no cigar.

Believe what you wish, including the propaganda by the busybodies, I know better.

I also have friends from Delaware. They told me about places that were doing great until this ban. Many became private clubs to get an exemption. Those that couldn’t went under.

Why not leave it up to the businessmen rather than the government? If smokers are such pariahs and it is bad for business, then the bar owners will ban smoking voluntarily. Or the patrons can choose between bars based on their preference. Tobacco is not an illegal substance.

Here in Ohio we have one fo the most restrictive no smoking laws in the country.

However, tha law is an ass and my favorite bar ignores the ban.

Whatever the effect on the business, the government has no right to do this, and you have no right to a smoke-free environment in someone else’s property. If a bar owner wants a smoke-filled bar, it’s his right. If he want’s a smoke-free bar, that’s also his right. If you don’t like the air, find another bar, or buy your own.

The somebody else being governmental bodies treading on age-old custom with rumor and innuendo as a basis and excuse.
