There is a question in all of this and that question is, "How will these people be regarded when they are old and gray?" This whole thing strikes me as being very much like a cute child who is constantly made over and finally comes to adulthood and is completely unequipped to face life. Their parents have done nothing to prepare them for later life and do not realize that good looks are fleeting.
I have a close relative who set me straight on this thing. She owns her own business and is quite beautiful. She bought a full-page ad in the Yellow Pages. I asked her why she didn't have her picture placed in that ad. Her reply - "I realize that I will not always look as I do today and constantly displaying a youthful picture in an ad is ill advised. Not only that, I want them to be interested in my business and not my appearance." Or words to that effect.
How many will live long enough to get "old and gray"?
