Uknown- I’ve been listening pretty exclusively to FOX.
Very odd situation. MSNBC states perp is Leland Eisenberg...FOX states perp is Troy Stanley.
Troy Stanley’s former wife told Carl Cameron that he’s a diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic- and has stopped taking his meds.

So maybe the “bomb” is just made with flares and not dynamite.That seems to be the theory - right now anyways.
As they keep saying it's a "fluid" situation. And if the guy's been drinking for 72 hours I'd have to agree.

Paranoid schizophrenics aren't suicidal, just the opposite.
I can tell you this guy feels completely righteous in what he's doing and probably is issuing psychotic demands that he really believes the police or Hillary will comply with.
Eventually, he'll negotiate releasing the hostages in return for being able to return to the woods, believing that will happen.
