Maybe .... they aren’t really for spotting traffic citations.

Maybe... the politicians and heads of LEO’s think if they tell you what they are really for, that certain segments of the population will use ACLU, ethnic organizations, and Lawyers to prevent it.

So people think the UAV’s can catch them speeding 24/7 ANYWHERE. And follow the speed limit.

It’s called DUAL USE TECHNOLOGY. Just because it could be used for traffic violations only, doesn’t mean that is it’s main, or ‘true’ use.
