I would like to know if you are going to vote in the November 2008 election even if your candidate does not win. Will you stay home if you don't like the Republican candidate?
Another thing that I have often wondered about is whether people actually stay home when they are disheartened. News commentators often say that some voters may have decided to stay home because they were not happy with the candidates. I think that is a mistake because even if you do not like the person at the top of the ticket you should at least vote for the other candidates. Have you every actually stayed home and not gone to the polls at all because you were not happy with a candidate?
I agree. If it comes down to this, I will vote AGAINST the dark side!
Yes. I’ll probably vote. Usually do. The primary season is the time to vote on which type of republican/conservative you want to win. During the general election you vote for which one is closest to your point of view. During ones lifetime there may only be a few ocassions when your party’s candidate is someone who you really are super jazzed up about. For me that was my first vote in 1980 for Reagan.
I agree with StACase.
I don’t care who they run...I’m voting for the pubbie.
The old saying goes, if you don't vote, don't hillary (e.g. don't bitch).

Stay home? Never.
Vote for a Democrat? Never.
Vote for the Republican nominee? Not necessarily.
Yes, any Republican is better than the socialist lineup the dems have. Even Rudy.
I’ll vote. And I’ll vote Republican, even if I have to hold my nose while I do it because the choices stink.
Even the worst of the Republican candidates is better than the best of the Dems.
God help us all.
Of Course!
Yes, because I don’t want to surrender our troops to the Demoncraps. Why would anyone want our troops to be under the command of Hitlery?? If you give our troops to Hitlery, you are giving our troops to Al Qaeda.
Who wants that?
Hillary will be the biggest get out the vote movement in republican history. You couldnt buy enough advertising or have enough volunteers for how much Hillary will motivate the right in this nation to vote against her.
Great answer.
I like your response better than mine. Sure I will go to the polls and do a write in as well.
The beast still wins, but at least I participated in the process. LOL
Cuz a Rudy presidency isn’t a whole lot better than a Hillary presidency. If he’s nominated I dunno what I’ll do. If Romney’s nominated I’ll vote for him to stop Hillary. Aside from those two and Fred, no one else has a chance at winning the primary.
I plan on voting in November no matter who the Republicans nominate. If, however, they nominate Rudy, I’ll find a non-Republican to vote for. There are usually a half dozen choices on the ballot.
I will be voting Republican, and I will take a golf club to the head of any whiney Republican that tell me he is going to stay home because his candidate isn’t in the general.
Hell yes, I’m going to vote. We need every single vote to counter all the ones Hill and Bill have already had their people plug into the voting machines.
I am voting Down with Hillary.
AND I’ll take a few folk with me too!!
I pulled for Steve Forbes in the 2,000 primary, but still voted for Bush twice.
Nothing gets me off my a$$ more than the Klinton’s, so yes I will be voting for over broken glass.
